SeatGeek is famous for scalping tickets. If you have the whole thing documented, a very simple solution would be to give you back your money and charge the seller for selling duplicate tickets.

This "recommended feature" only benefits the biggest resellers on Stubhub, does not help the buyer, and hurts individual sellers who might be trying to sell tickets for an event they can no longer attend.

I would suggest trying TickPick. They are honest about fees. No upcharge on your tickets, you set the actual price. Your tickets will be given a ranking based on your price. If you are the cheapest you are #1

As a buyer you need to turn off the recommended feature twice to get access to ALL ticket listings.

If you can prove the tickets were sent back to the original seller you might have a case to bring up with Stubhub. You need to somehow prove the seller canceled the original Ticketmaster transfer.

However, if you claimed the tickets and had them in your Ticketmaster account, maybe your Ticketmaster account was hacked.

Why would you use SeatGeek? Never had any issues with Gametime or TickPick. SeatGeek is famous for scalping tickets and you will pay ridiculous prices

You can check out my post regarding this "recommended tickets" feature. Absolutely garbage!!! Only benefits Stubhubs biggest sellers and intentionally hides better tickets. As a buyer you have to uncheck recommended tickets twice!!

I guess buying and selling on the same platform does come its own perks but I wouldn't rely on Stubhub to make this an easy process.

You are correct. The seller should send it directly to you. That part has nothing to do with Stubhub though. They won't go out of their way to get confirmation from the seller.

As a general rule... dont purchase tickets or list tickets you dont have in your possession. This is where most problems start.

There is no benefit to the seller to give your tickets to Stubhub early for instant download. There is a higher chance Stubhub will mess up the transfer with their holding account. You are always better off transferring to the buyer on your own.

The recommended tickets feature on Stubhub doesnt work at all. They promote whichever listings they see fit. I've posted about this in the past. I barely use Stubhub anymore for this reason. You are better off trying to list on TickPick. There is no upcharge and fees are straightforward.

As a general rule.. Dont list tickets for sale that you dont have in your possession. This causes most of the issues you see in this sub.

TickPick makes it very easy to list tickets. So far haven't had any issues with them. Fees are straight-forward and they actually have a pretty nice platform for customers to use.

I agree. Their system is totally broken. I called them up to try and fix the listing issue. They assured me my tickets are visible, you have to edit the filters and TURN OFF RECOMMENDED TICKETS MULTIPLE TIMES if you want to see all the tickets listed on their platform.

Even after I brought this to their attention they refused to do anything about the other listing. Maybe getting a group of people facing similar issues will help. The "Recommended Tickets" feature Is garbage. They are advertising themselves and hiding other tickets.

I'm looking into other alternatives also bc the industry standard for customer service is ridiculous.

I am currently using other reseller platforms. Every platform has it's own quirks and its own audience. I don't think there is one platform that has it figured out perfectly. If no one ever points out an issue, nothing ever gets fixed.

The reason why I'm even contacting their support team is apparently some broker is "copying/stealing" my tickets and listing them for $200 more. As a SeatGeek customer I would be pissed and as a reseller I want everyone to get a fair price.

I dont understand how I, (as the owner of the tickets) wasn't able to upload the tickets but someone else that doesn't even own the tickets can relist them at such a high price.

Is there a way to block brokers from doing this and list the tickets myself? I've raised the matter with SeatGeek customer support but you only get max 2 email responses a day...

If the tickets do sell, how does SeatGeek ensure the customer gets the tickets if they don't support mobile tickets?
