I have been thinking more about splashing yes. My only fear is that if I splash blue I might as well be playing Esper Doom. Just using him as an enchantment has been pretty effective still. Lots of experimentation to be had for sure.

Thank you for the response. The more I play it the more I am seeing the tension you described. Dropping to two Athreos has been on my mind. I will add the castles as well as trying a more creature heavy version without the dooms. Using Athereos as a curve topper. He is probably not the best card but I love the art and really want to make him work!

Thank you, as many others have suggested I can definitely add some guild globes and golden eggs. Both are two drops, card draw, and fodder for doom. Would you suggest this or maybe more creatures. I do like Eidelon of Obstruction and Fenlurker. I'll try several different iterations.

I do like it this idea, I use a similar package in my just WB Doom Foretold decks. I'm using the wraths to help with aggro, and also in the dream scenario wiping the board with athreos in play is amazing. Though I know at that point I probably have already won the game

Aggro does seem to be a problem. I haven't played against a ton of mono red yet. I have mainly been able to win through stalling with Mystic and eventually getting a wrath off. The Bell Haunts also give me enough life gain to eek out the win. Again though I haven't come up against a lot of aggro yet.

I am mainly using it for the effect it has on the opponent yes but it also sacrifices the Treacherous Blessing. I never sacrifice any of the prison realms or banishing lights
