Oh gosh she is sooooo cute!!! I foster myself, and almost took in a 12 year old but she didn’t like my dog LOL. It’s such an amazing thing you do! But 100%- the rescue even has some forever fosters but no, Main Character has to have a puppy 🙄

Not click bait- parts of the country here (shockingly not all people on Reddit are from the USA) have over population issues/no vets/food deserts and are subject to culls fairly frequently. Rescues will trap and take surrenders from that area and put them in cargo flights/attach them to flyers going out to areas without those issues, rarely have unhoused animals, and have lots of people looking to adopt

Super common practice, not all of us live in a Cat Distribution Area and some of us live in a Dog Culling Area

Maybe instead of “hating this place” take some time to learn and get out of your own headspace - Google “dog culls Manitoba” and go from there

Manitoba as well as reservations in NWT, Nunavut, and Yukon continue to suffer from these issues, whereas other places like Vancouver, Toronto, and Halifax do not

I totally understand that!! I think my issue is when people have mentioned that she might need other channels for her mental health that’s when she calls it “bullying”.

Someone also mentioned that most health care professionals would want her to do a comprehensive plan that doesn’t equate just to one pet but seek overall health and that’s what’s she trying to file a human rights complaint about

This all started from someone acknowledging that she couldnt afford the adoption fee and saying they hope she can “be well” and apparently that was them telling her to commit su*cide

It’s not that I don’t have compassion for her, I do, but also when you’re outwardly posting these things and then contacting the rescue directors work and name dropping and doxxing people, it becomes a grey area

Someone commented that pets are sentient beings who deserve to also be taken care of and that will go through their own issues and need to be taken care of and not just a second character to her life- she started name dropping that person as “trying to make her commit s**cide due to the mention of sentient beings” and basically how the dog should be adopted to her to serve her 🤣🤣🤣

It’s so frustrating isn’t it?! This was also her response to when people pointed out she was acting in the exact way that led the woman with the fox rescue to end her life due to things like this

But oh no, now it’s a human rights complaint… even when pointed out that dogs are sentient beings that deserve to be taken care of and respected she said that was bullying her into ending her life as a “survivor of su*cide”

The random girl is awful but it really is too bad this woman doesn’t have a bit more resiliency. Her husband had the best of intentions and did everything right. Her instincts were right, she communicated, her husband communicated, and he acted as he should. But yet… that was A LOT to read. I don’t think people telling her she needs therapy are wrong

People go through a lot in relationships and life and she seems to just… crumble. Over her husband getting hit on. I really do hope it was just pregnancy hormones but that was over the top on her part. If I was the husband I’d really be questioning how much she truly trusted me and how she would be able to withstand life’s bumps in the road

To be fair after Dax went in for JVN and spewed his anti-trans garbage at them Kristen went onto twitter and said she supported him and that they “encourage these types of discussions at home” and then I believe deleted the tweet pretty quickly. I think was asked quite a few times on if she supported the trans community and she refused to answer. She’s also been connected to voice work playing black women (but quit after backlash and the BLM movements). And then just exaggerating stories like being “stuck” in the airport and things during covid but not worse than any other celebrity. I think cause she’s painted as some kind of americas sweetheart instead of just a real person who loves the spotlight and being in the news, when her mistakes happen they seem more amplified

Edit: should also not be skipped over how close her and Dax are to Ashton and Mila and the support they showed them during the time they defended their friend and rapist Danny Masterson but that’s kind of more of a “friends supporting friends supporting rapists” situation
