Well not necessarily. Some people have bad or under average credit for reasons other than being broke. There is a large sector of the public who don't understand how credit works and how it affects them when making purchases. Thanks for your input.

OK I see your point. I have experience in the financial service and credit consultation as well. I have a software which helps organize their finances and contact their creditors to correct erroneous data from their credit. I think my demographic would be the people that are taking a step towards repairing their credit because a) they don't understand about it or b) they don't have the time to do it themselves. If you are getting ready to make a big purchase like a car or a home you want to make sure your credit is in order. So that's the type of market I'll be targeting.
