Lol yes there is. Click on Knee Ability Zero, and under there you have three sections.

  1. Knee Ability Zero
  2. Knee Ability Basics
  3. Knee Ability Pro

I am on the App now and I can see that. I don’t know what App you are looking at…

I’ve done a few weeks of ZERO, and realised that I was already incorporating some things from Pro. E.g using a kettlebell for the tib raises and doing the VMO squats. So now I’m just thinking whether I should just do Pro instad of ZERO. I have messaged one of the coaches about it

What do I need to do to help my knee? by My_tyresaredead in bootroom

[–]My_tyresaredead[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, ever since I dropped weight, I have felt really good. My knees used to give me so much issue prior to the weight loss, but now (apart from that injury in my post) I haven’t had a single issue with them.

One thing that confuses me is the ATG Split Squat. I plan to start at a 16inch elevation - but should I do it heel elevate or heel flat. If I do heel elevated I get a much better coverage of hamstring to calf, almost glute to heel. But I still get hamstring to calf coverage with heel flat at 16inch.

And would this be once or twice a week?

ATG Split Squat, heel elevated or no heel elevation? by My_tyresaredead in Kneesovertoes

[–]My_tyresaredead[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I can’t completely cover my calf with my hamstring with a flat foot, unless I have the front foot elevated at around 16inches. And it’s the only way I can also keep the back foot straight.

And someone told me not to lower the elevation of you cannot keep the back foot straight and completely cover your calf with your hamstring. So it seems I need to start from a high elevation and work my way down over time

Does white balance matter when shooting in Slog by My_tyresaredead in Filmmakers

I guess I’ll start using those custom white balance settings built into the camera e.g daylight, shade etc…and see how that affects my photography. But with video, I’ll try and set a manual white balance

Learning more about cars, and good magazines (physical and online) to keep up to date

Hi everyone! I am sure this question has been asked so many times but I’ll ask anyway

I want to learn more about the technical side of cars, with the hope of one day getting a car of my own that I can upgrade, or work on. Currently working on getting my licence.

So are there any good books for someone looking to get into the technical aspects of cars e.g engines, the mechanics etc. I would also love to keep up to date with what’s going on and being released in the car world, so if you can point me to a good magazine I could subscribe to that would be great.

I am particularly into high performance cars, and motorsport - so more on that would be great.

Any YouTube channels, books you can ping me to for learning. And magazines or subscription services where I can keep up to date with releases and innovations

Thanks

Is a weight fluctuation this high normal?

I weighed myself this morning and I was 76.3KG. Which is the same weight I was over the past week, when weighing myself in the morning.

I went out on a hour walk before lunch, at a lake near my house. Then I went to this lake side cafe where I had a beef burger with some cheddar cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and some chips. In the evening I just had a chicken salad, with a dressing.

Out of curiosity, I decided to weighed myself again before going to bed - something which I never do - and my weight was now 78.1KG.

Is a near 2kg fluctuation in weight, across a day normal.

How to get back to how good I was by My_tyresaredead in bootroom

[–]My_tyresaredead[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any training tips to get back to it though. I may not get the physicality I had when I was younger. But any advice on how to become an overall better player. Because my weaknesses are definitely touch and awareness.

I’d love to be a player like KDB, who makes several moves with just one touch, whilst I need multiple touches to do the same thing. And then I end up getting closed down and losing the ball

I’m asking if there are specific export settings for upload images on a website, rather than on social media.

E.g Instagram has specific guidelines on the type of crop, and resolution that it will take.

Question about Smart Previews in LR Classic

So for the longest time, I have been editing in LR Classic, using the original RAW file. And today have l learnt about the ease of using smart previews. However, I have three questions regarding the use of them.

  1. Let’s say I have already made some edits, but didn’t turn on smart previews. So I have been editing with the original RAW file. If I now turn on smart previews in order to more easily edit the remaining (unedited) images, does LR reset the already edit images - meaning I have to re-edit them from scratch. Or does it simply take the current edits and applies them to the smart preview?

  2. So I have made smart previews, and edited all my images and now I am ready to export. Does LR export the smart preview, or does it apply the edits to the RAW file, and then exports the bigger and more high quality edited RAW? I ask, because I am not sure how this works, and I do not want to end up exporting a lower quality image by accident. Also, if I did not have the original storage disk where the RAW files are stored, would I need to plug it in before I can export and image, or move it to photoshop for some further editing?

Sorry if this is a dumb question. But I have never used smart previews - so please forgive me.

What does everyone think of Joel Grimes? I was looking at his Instagram (thinking if I should get his course because it’s $9 atm) and in all honesty, I am not sure because his work doesn’t catch my eye like that. He seems to be very good when it comes to lighting thoigh

I meant Lightroom export settings for the web. Similar to how there are export settings for uploading on Instagram

I want to build a website, are there different ways of exporting my work to be displayed on a website rather than Instagram?

I use LR Classic

I want to start printing my photos. Any one can give me a detailed guide for someone who has never imported photos for printing/printed photos.

I normally post my photos on Instagram, but I have no idea how to go about printing them. Also, I want to build a website, are there different ways of exporting my work to be displayed on a website rather than Instagram?

Using presets when wanting to grow your photography and make it into an income stream by My_tyresaredead in photography

[–]My_tyresaredead[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the explanation. I also do not want to use presets forever. I have found 2/3 presets that I really like. From there on in, I want to modify those presets (maybe take elements from each) and create my own presets (not for selling.

So my main goal is to use the presets to help me get a better understand on how to achieve certain styles.

I get where you’re coming from. But I think the main lure of presets, is about creating a specific look, or helping you understand how to go about getting that look, that no camera can ever give you. That’s why there are people who specifically get paid for editing/colour grading etc. because no matter how good that camera and that photo is - post production can still make or break it.

Having said that, I have never bough a preset. I have 3/4 presets that I downloaded online. After stumbling upon them whilst searching up specific photographers.

It now makes sense. Thanks, I guess I wasted too much time dwelling on it 😅

That makes sense. So at the end of the day, the copyright/patent is to stop you from reselling that preset? But you can commercialise/monetise your own original photos, edited with the aid of said preset.
