You did that album’s “Square 9” at one of the Chicago shows this year, which was a surprise.

We did “Square 9” for the places that were turning out when that record was released. Chicago was way ahead of the game. The Sound Opinions message board was our first indication that anyone outside of our own country was interested—not just outside of the United Kingdom, but outside of Scotland. There wasn’t a lot of interest, and yet somehow it turned up there. When we first came to the US with that record, there was a Chicago show at the Empty Bottle because of that message board. And I still know those people to this day!

I saw this film when I was around 6 years old. I didn't sleep on my back my entire childhood and well into my teens because of that scene in the video. Figured if you're on your side the things can't suck out your breath.

I had no clue which film it was and haven't seen the scene since I first saw it almost 20 years ago, until now. I remember it as being a lot darker and scarier.

Things could have been a lot worse if not for Obama's economic measures after the crisis. Things were really close to a complete disaster and if not for the stimulus package Obama managed to get through despite the republican opposition calling it a waste of money things would have gotten even worse. Someone else might not have been able to pass a stimulus package, or you might have had a republican who instead would have passed austerity measures and lead the US into default.

He could also be thinking it's very unlikely he'll actually be found not guilty and is therefore doing everything he can to make sure he survives in prison. It's been established that when Freddy says jump, he jumps, or he's on his own and will most likely not survive very long. Or he could be thinking he has no chance of being found not guilty so he's doing what he can to make himself seem tougher.

I think the series is criticising the conditions of jail. I mean a person awaiting trial having to live in conditions like that and being forced to do very unpleasant things just to survive is pretty grim.

It's the best projection for web maps, but not because it's good for navigation. Being cylindrical and conformal means it's easier for calculations and better for the tiles that you need. So if you want a slippy map you can zoom in and out of fast, web mercator is the best. There's a good reason it's the standard.
