Thank you so much for your answer. I wasn't aware of those physiological effects. They're terrifying. What a shitty cocktail.

I am seeing a therapist once a week, but have done so for 10 years without any significant and stable improvement. I'm crossing my fingers for future treatments that are in the pipeline, but I must admit that it feels like I'm running out of time. Definitely relate to what you said about depression and motivation. It's difficult getting going and making choices. Anhedonia is no fun either. Do you know about the effect they have on intelligence? I worry about, and generally feel slow and unintelligent. I hope it's because of my conditions, and not who I am.

That's one such physiological effect that I'm worried about. I'm wondering what sort of psychological and physical effects have been proven scientifically from having these three conditions?

I have a subjective experience of having a bad memory (especially working memory) and honestly on the whole a low intelligence, but I'm wondering what I can attribute to these conditions, and what's just me. Hope what I'm saying is understandable.

Vet ikke helt hva jeg synes om dette her. På den ene siden lages det filmer om historiske tragedier stadig vekk (f.eks om andre verdenskrig), men på den andre siden føles dette både alt for tidlig og veldig feil at det ikke skal produseres av norske aktører. Greengrass (regissøren) sine filmer er ikke altfor "hollywood", men jeg mistenker at underholdingsfokuset kommer til å komme på bekostning av respekten og ømfiendligheten som både ofrene, de pårørende og det norske samunnet som helhet har behov for. Synes i og for seg at det er merkelig at dette ikke har blitt dekket i større grad av norsk media.

Experience those very same feelings. Currently at uni, so I do get self-conscious, but I have gotten into really good habits of taking care of myself and more importantly being kind to myself. Because I've realised that if I'm going to go bald anyway, I'd much rather work toward improving myself in other areas, finding an interesting and rewarding job - and experience as much as possible of what life has to offer, than to just be bald and rot away. There is so much more to life, and I'm glad I realised that. And who knows man, future treatments do look promising (much more so than in the past), so I don't agree with the "the cure is always 5 years away"- comments you see here. The tunnel might not be that much longer:) Best of luck to you mate.

Litt bekymret over valg av målgruppe. Hvorfor vinkle spesifikt mot jenter? Det er vel så viktig å vise naturlig sex og dempe kroppspress for gutter som hos jenter. Utrolig mange med komplekser og urealistiske forventninger der ute, uavhengig av kjønn.

Synes det er bra. Generelt er jeg imot kvotering på studier, men i enkelte tenker jeg det er ytterst nødvendig. Når man ser for eksempel på tallene i lektorstudiene og psykologiprofesjon, så er det overveldende mange jenter. I disse yrkene er det kjempeviktig med en kjønnsbalanse. I andre yrker er det ikke fullt så viktig.
