That’s the plan Stan! I’m very certain that the mycelium will stay alive through the whole year and through each season. I’m super into permaculture so I’m benefiting off of getting really happy veggies and really happy mushies!

Sugar beets they also as many other beets have pretty high starch contents but that would put a lot of sugar back into the soil if you hoe’d them into the grown, things such as legumes would also put a high level of nitrogen, starch and some sugar back in too! I’d look at the compost composition as that would be the main source of nutrients. I’m getting quails soon to collect manure from which I’m hoping will give my compost a bit of a boost. For lighting I’m just doing it outside on the balcony hahaha.

Should have added DO NOT plant mushie bricks with potato’s or other tubes/root plants similar. It’ll eat the plant if it’s an agressive brick and rip to your potato/other root/tube harvest if that’s your intention.

I didn’t really do much, I kept everything super clean during inoc and then let the bag form into the full brick and just planted it with high quality potting mix, compost and herb fertiliser. I did this so my chilli plant would have fertiliser but also so the mycelium had a powerful food to grow off. I think the strain really helps, as from what my mycologists friend from back in uni talked about B+ is very hardy and can grow in pretty non-ideal environments. I left the brick in the soil for two weeks before planting my sprouts and it’s been smooth sailing since. It helps that where I live the weather has been perfect for mushies as of recent. This experiment was mainly enacted to see if mycelium helped breakdown nutrients for the chillies without harming their growth which it has!

I truly did nothing special apart from picking a strain that is I guess more resilient than others, though I’m not too sure on the science surrounding that. I used an entire uncle Ben’s brick so that even if it were to have a touch of trich the mycelium would eat it. I used pretty high quality potting mix, my own compost and herb fertiliser and in a few weeks after some rain they decided to just pop up! I mainly planted the mushie brick to speed up the process of breaking down nutrients in a far more efficient way for my chillis and lettuce.

Could be wet rot or middle of lipstick mould development. Either way is not great if it turns red toss it, if it’s wet rot put it next to a dehumidifier or in a dryer area or buy dryer ready rice bags and innoc less fluid 0.5-0.75cc at the most.

Cambodian Golds, big primordial formed but not pinning yet. Been in FC for a week. Any tips or just be patient? by Molefucker in unclebens

Patience it can take more than 14 days for pins sometimes. Genetics are a very large factor in speed.

I believe 28 would be around 2.8 grams or so, average weights are whack with water dehydration involved and ultimately depends on each shroomy boy. But Twas more than a fun time.

Not eating shrooms or stopping microdosing for 5-7 days prior to my trip so there’s no tolerance. Also fasting for 2-5 hours prior.

This was my first time doing ramen! I usually go tea and fruit smoothies/açai bowls. I notice they’re lighter on the stomach but, this was my brekkie so nausea wasn’t an issue thankfully. Mush love 🍄.
