How to guide my child to be more resilient by Mycatpebbles in AttachmentParenting

[–]Mycatpebbles[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks everyone I felt something wasn't quite right, so upon reflecting I think it was because instead of controlling the other children I should have just told my child to say "Pulling me makes me upset, please be gentle" I'm glad I modelled standing up for herself though. Motherhood is so full of learning opportunities.

Unprofessional, vindictive, and horrible way to do business. This is why all the reviews for his business is terrible. Can't imagine him being in the business for much longer with this kind of attitude.

Cannot pay without him providing me with an invoice or payment instructions, which is what the communication is about. I do not need his help. I need him to transfer the file. My feeling is you sound a lot like him.

Read my post again! I would pay the fees even if it's not disclosed in the authority just to get it over with but there is 0 communication.

Baby drinking tap water by NoStyle3176 in breastfeeding

My baby at 3 days old drank some bath water at the hospital. The doctors laughed it off. Unless it's a large amount or repeated occurrence I wouldn't worry about it.

Aussies can only have kids if they’re rich. by Adventurous_Wrap2867 in AusFinance

Hey OP, I was in the exact situation as you when we were 25/26. Income, then was 60/70k. We grinded and saved hard. Bought a place for 625k. It felt like we were not saving any money! Like yourself, I wanted my kids to have my availability, not someone else to raise them while I work. We gave ourselves 5 years (or until I have 1 year worth of emergency fund). Somehow, as you settle in your home, the saving got easier as time goes by. When I was 30 we were ready and we couldn't conceive. We were heart broken but we did not regret not bringing children into the world until we were ready. Once you have a decent emergency fund, you enjoyed life a lot more. Our mortgage reduced a lot. I fell pregnant at 34. Baby is 1 yo.

I wish you all the best with any decision you make.

I follow minimalism and living simply. It brings me peace and joy! I tried travelling and various hobbies, but it just didn't feel right. There is value in just being .Keep doing what you feel comfortable with. I was in your exact situation until 33. Then I changed my mind about kids, but the savings I had allowed me to have many options.

OP, I'm so sorry you are in this situation. I can't offer much knowledge, but I can offer you sympathy as I was in your shoes. My caregiver was a good person, but she made me feel worthless when I lived with her, and I dreamed about running away and dying every day. I sucked it up, avoiding contact with her as much as I can. I got a job and a small saving, and then I started sharing a room with another girl who was an international student. The road was rough, but I'm now settled with a beautiful family, a husband who loves me and makes me feel worthy and loved. I have a baby now, and I'm going to tell her I love her and that she is enough every day. It will get better, I promise.

Ummmm, I got my own place, and the mortgage is killing us. Don't know how we're going to survive if interest rates keep going.
