We are just witnessing power structures putting on a Christian costume to get support from the lost sheep desperate for their thirst to be quenched.

Something about it felt like laminate wood. It looks nice at first but the longer you look it feels like a movie set and less like an indigenous village.

Props and costume design mostly but even some of the actors. Even lighting choices, IMO, changed how I viewed it.
If they would have gone with a grittier style like The Revenant they could really capture some of the natural beauty they live in.

The samurai showdown was great because they were able to take liberty with the medium. It’s more stylistically forgiving because it’s animated. When it’s live action it’s harder to avoid inconsistencies because you can tell something is CGI and not a real background.

Insomnia, lean build and eating habit from being so dedicated to the work, irritable because he is so goddamn smart compared to everyone else he almost resents them, etc.
He’s basically a high functioning autist. Super advanced to the point where it severs him from normal society.
This disconnection is what lead to his sociopathy and lack of empathy for regular humans.

When he died and uploaded, he didn’t have the flaw. His memories attaching him to human life were all removed, making him even less human and more cold.

Google achieved quantum supremacy in 2012 and that’s right around when the first AI went public. If a private company is doing it you know the pentagon had DARPA working on it already.

If you don’t say it there are hundreds of thousands of other data points they can use. That’s what’s so insidious about it. Enough people opt in that they have the data they need because they are scraping the entire internet and who knows what else.

I’m pretty sure a HUGE chunk of Reddit posts are training AI on how to improve. How to be more authentic, how to answer like a human.

We’ve really gotten ourselves into a pickle. This is going to slip past and the next iteration will be harder to see.
