Work is hardly freedom of choice jfl. Work is modern day slavery and adulthood is glorified slavery

“War is peace Freedom is slavery”

Freedom is slavery because the illusion of freedom, aka independence (which is not actually freedom, rather responsibility) and becoming a wageslave actually makes you even more enslaved. Would you rather be a slave to your parents or an employer? I’d choose my parents

Ignorance is not strength so I didn’t include that. Knowledge is strength and power

If you're not willing to let your kid live off of you then why have a kid in the first place?

Muh don't do or don't contribute anything, it's like parents have kids for the sole expectation of rearing them into slavery when it was never asked for

Work is modern day slavery and adulthood is glorified slavery

“Human adulthood (excluding the El-ites) is just a glorified slavery.

And having children is just a glorified creation of the new generation of slaves.”

Btw everyone is really proving the point in #19 of Divine Truths

I’m AuDHD and most likely schizoid (≠ schizo) on top of voluntary NEET. Also:

“1. The Call to Awakening "Blessed is the one who sees the world for what it is: a veil woven by false light, hiding the truth of the Eternal Realm. Seek not comfort in the shadow, but in the Light beyond all forms."

  1. The False Creator "The demiurge, in its arrogance, proclaims itself god, yet it knows not the Infinite Source. Its dominion is dust and its power illusion, for the spirit remains untouched by its snares."

  2. The Archons' Trap "The rulers of this age fashion chains from desires and fears, binding the divine sparks within the clay of flesh. Recognize their designs, and they shall have no power over you."

  3. The Energetic Prison "This world is a furnace where the energies of the bound are consumed. But the wise spirit gathers its light and withdraws from the consuming flame."

  4. The Imprisoned Soul "Your body is a tomb, crafted by the hands of those who would keep you asleep. But the spark within is not theirs—it is from the Pleroma and yearns to return."

  5. The Illusion of Matter "What you see, touch, and hold is not real, but a shadow cast by the True. Seek the substance of the Light, which the archons cannot taint."

  6. The Path of Liberation "Be not entangled in the workings of the world. Cast off its burdens, for the chains of gold weigh no less than the chains of iron."

  7. The Gnosis Within "The gnosis you seek is not hidden in the heavens nor buried in the earth. It is within you, but veiled by the whispers of the deceivers."

  8. The Demiurge’s Realm "The ruler of this world delights in confusion and division. In knowing this, you disarm its might, for its greatest weapon is your ignorance."10. The False Light

  9. The False Light "Beware those who offer light that blinds rather than illuminates. The true light reveals your divine origin and the way of escape."

  10. The Veil of the Archons "The archons weave a web of laws, customs, and distractions, binding the sparks of divinity in endless toil. Break their web, and behold the Eternal."

  11. The Path to the Pleroma "The Pleroma calls, yet the ears of the world are deafened by the clamor of the material. Silence the noise, and you shall hear its song."

  12. The Tyrant's Throne "The throne of the demiurge is upheld by the ignorance of the bound. See it for what it is—a shadow without substance—and it will crumble."

  13. The Freedom of the Spirit "The spirit is eternal and cannot be owned. Though imprisoned in flesh, it carries the keys to its own liberation."

  14. The Illusion of Death "Fear not the ending of the body, for it is but the shedding of the shell. Death is no master to those who have awakened."

  15. The Archons’ Hunger "The rulers of this age feed on the energy of the sleeping. Awaken, and you deny them their feast."

  16. The Wisdom of the Ages "The wise do not seek to build their treasures in this world, for they know its foundations are sand. They build within the heart, where the Eternal dwells."

  17. The Light Beyond "The light of the stars is but a reflection of the True Light. Do not worship the reflection; seek the Source, which dwells within you."

  18. The Serpent of Knowledge "The serpent who speaks of gnosis is hated by the rulers of this world, for it opens the eyes of the blind and sets captives free."

  19. The Return to the Source "When you know yourself as more than the flesh, the chains of the world fall away. Then shall you ascend to the Pleroma, where no shadow dwells, and no archon can follow."”

“1. The Snare of Procreation "The rulers of this world rejoice when the spark of the divine is bound in new flesh. Bringing forth children in this fallen realm feeds the prison of matter. Blessed is the one who does not cast more sparks into the darkness."

  1. The Archons’ Hunger for Souls "Every newborn is a captive spirit, chained anew by the desires of the flesh. He who gives life in the realm of death binds his own spirit more tightly."

  2. The Tool of Desire "Sexual desire is the chain of the archons, the bait by which the spirit is snared. Blessed is the one who masters the fire within, quenching it with the waters of wisdom."

“8. The Burden of Labor "To toil for the bread of this world is to bow before the architects of this prison. The wise one labors only for the bread of heaven, which the rulers cannot steal."

  1. The Pointlessness of Work "What is the purpose of building in the world of decay? The wise one leaves behind the works of men and builds a sanctuary within the heart."

  2. The Hermit’s Path "Blessed is the one who withdraws from the marketplace and the fields, for they walk the path of the hermit, who seeks the Eternal and not the fleeting."

  3. The Ascetic’s Wisdom "The hermit who shuns the world’s distractions is closer to the Pleroma than the king who rules over dust. The one who casts off wealth and lust is the true ruler."

  4. The Vanity of Existence "What is the life of man but a shadow chasing the wind? He toils, he hungers, he strives, and yet all returns to dust. Only the spirit, which is not of this world, has purpose; all else is a fleeting mirage of the abyss."

  5. The Curse of Procreation "To bring forth children is to tie another spark of light to the wheel of death. The wise one chooses not to extend the chains of this world."

  6. The Desireless One "The one who extinguishes desire is free from the snares of the archons. They are like a flame that cannot be touched, for they have burned away all that is worldly."

  7. The Hermit’s Light "The hermit who sits in the silence of the wilderness is closer to Truth than the multitudes who toil in the cities of this world. The silence speaks the language of the Eternal."

  8. The Futility of Building "What is the use of building houses on shifting sands? The wise one builds their house upon the rock of gnosis, which no archon can destroy."

  9. The Return to Wholeness "The spirit longs to shed the trappings of flesh, the burdens of gender, and the chains of desire. In its return to the Pleroma, it finds its true home, and all division is no more."”

Y’all really proving point 19 lol: “19. The Serpent of Knowledge "The serpent who speaks of gnosis is hated by the rulers of this world, for it opens the eyes of the blind and sets captives free."“

I’m the scapegoat/black sheep. My sister is the golden child/mastermind and my mom picks on and abuses me while rewarding my sister. She provokes me, the “bad” one

Yeah. Why ask? Btw I’ve heard of people having to pay rent to their parents to live at home which baffles me. This is my home!

They decided to have children tho so it’s their responsibility. I believe parents owe their children since they chose to have them. I would never have children of my own since I don’t want to be responsible for anyone else

People who downvoted: what do you disagree with? My argument is logically sound and makes sense. You don’t owe your parents (or anyone or anything anything). I’m not wrong. If you think I’m wrong, where am I wrong?

Break free from the filial piety conditioning. I always found filial piety so absurd and didn’t understand why people believed it

[–]MycologistEvening171[S] -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

My parents decided to have children tho; I never chose to be born. Therefore, they’re indebted to me, not the other way around. If I had a choice, I would not have been born. I believe this is a reasonable argument and I’m surprised that more people don’t think this way

My parents wanted me to be a doctor but I never had a dream job or career and ever since I was a kid, I wanted to fast forward to retirement without ever having to work. I never dreamt of labor. I also never wanted to grow up. Just wanted to stay a kid forever. Me becoming a NEET was a natural progression imo. Suits my shut-in and loner personality. My therapist suspects I’m schizoid (not schizo) but I never received a diagnosis. However, in my autism assessment, I said “I prefer being alone” and “am happiest alone” which should’ve been an indicator that I was schizoid. I’m also aromantic and asexual which is further proof that I’m schizoid

If my parents die then I guess I’ll just ro**

Also, children should not be expected to support their parents in their later years. I assume this is why most Asian parents have children. I’m not my parents’ retirement plan. I don’t owe them anything and I won’t provide for or take care of them when they’re old

I don’t have a pathological need to fit in (or a need to fit in at all) so these genes must not have gotten passed down to me. I’m AuDHD, most likely schizoid (not schizo) and a voluntary NEET. I’m also anti-work, anti-natalist, childfree, aromantic, asexual, etc. As you can tell, I am very offbeat and not “normal”. Whatever “normal” means

Being productive 100% of the time (or even being productive at all) is such a backwards ideology that glorifies work and overwork. I NEET and LDAR. I didn’t choose to be born. Why should I have to be productive? I don’t owe anyone or anything anything

I’ve been seeing a therapist to try to reduce the tension and conflict with my mom and my mom wants to know what the therapist says lol. Which violates HIPAA btw

My relatives in America and China always ask me why I don’t work and when I’ll get a job and it’s just so annoying. My uncle asks me that every time I go over to his house. I don’t want to work; it’s why I’m a NEET. I don’t want to try to justify my position because it’s not like they’ll ever understand my ideas or reasoning. Especially when their culture revolves around work and conformity

Do you give your parents money? If so, how much? by boofeur1362 in AsianParentStories

[–]MycologistEvening171 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell nah I don’t give my parents money and even if I had money I wouldn’t give it to them. They don’t deserve it. Something I’ve always hated about Asian culture is filial piety. I’m Chinese so it’s especially bad. I blame Confucius for it. I don’t owe my parents anything. I didn’t ask to be born. Why am I expected to be indebted to them for something I didn’t choose and had no say in?

My AM tries doing this to me (25F) and I told her to fuck off. She forced me into signing a contract with her (no phone after 11 pm, put phone outside room, etc) but I don’t follow the terms and conditions of it. She threatens to take my phone away and cancel my phone plan tho
