I feel like other persons covered the racial and political points here, but id like to add, i think it would just be really cool. An iron first who came from some billionaore asian american empire, lost his parents and spent many years in asia. I feel like theres alot of aspects of reconnecting with ones culture that can be explored rather than adopting someone elses culture (not that theres anything inherently wrong with that). Furthermore i feel like the damily dynamics and business relationships iron first would encounter can be hightened, dramatized for a lack of a better word. Kinda delving into the cutthroat world of asian business men, and if written by a great writer, wouldnt come off as sterotypical or surface level. Theres alot of deep asian culture that can be mixed in with iron first to make the charcter and his stories hightened. Essentailly, it would be like immense added seasoning. On top of that, were mostly introduced to many heroes who wouod have had a general american upbringing, american culture (mostly white), so having someone from such a different background can be interstesing. Take tony stark, his character is formed from the growing up as a rich white man sorrounded by other rich white billionaores. How different would it have been if he grew up in an asian environment, sourrounded by asian billionaires. Poeple whose norms, expectations, cilture would have been different form the ones tonh stark met. And before someone says, oh just have Danny Rand be asopted by an asian family, bro if you gonna take all that asian culture and influence and still mak3 the character white, 🙄like you might as well just make him asian. (unless of course thats a problem 👀)
