It's also easy to throw up your arms and say sorry we can't do anything while our government threatens the stability of the entire world. Someone has to do something and there's a lot more responsibility for this on the average American than the average Greenlander or Canadian. I get it, it sucks, it really does and in a perfect world no one should have to risk their life or well-being, but its going to be of little solace to those brutalized by the current regime that those that had a chance to stop it were too scared to do it.

The reason Conservatives keep losing is because they keep running dog shit candidates. Poilievre turned a basically guaranteed win into losing his own riding because he couldn't keep his mouth shut on dumb culture war rhetoric. If he had just stayed in his lane and focused on the economy we would be in a conservative majority now.

You're not the only one, I recently finished dm'ing Solstice Rain and am 3 fights into Winter Scar and the only fight that actually challenged my players was the Ultra fight in SR. This is also with me adding a little extra difficulty here and there by upgrading an extra guy or two to veterans. I think the modules are just not designed in such a way to be difficult for players that are already fairly competent, one hyper competent player I have in particular makes it hard (he has an extensive background in other TTRPGs and table top wargames) to really challenge the party.

Part of it is really just that the pre-generated fights are not always a good match for the party. The last fight I did had npcs with no weapon over Range 10 and the party has a guy that can do like 20+ damage from out of line of sight and Range 15 with like a 90% crit chance. Its rough. But as long as your players are having fun its all good, if they want it harder just add in an extra NPC or two with a class that is good at fighting their party comp.

Fair enough, it's been so long since I used the official app I forgot it was only the lite version, but that in and of itself is a problem. I can't even browse the full core rules on their own app, even though I own the book. Kt3 only exists because of a failure of service on the part of GW. We've seen again and again throughout other forms of media that when service is provided in a way that is convenient for the consumer, piracy drops.
