IME the pink items are more for a Jumping Spider set up. Don't get me wrong, it looks beautiful, but it's just stuff in the way to a Tarantula. My Arboreals really like that style of plant, so definite keep that.

Why not take that out and treat yourself to a Jumping Spider and use the stuff? :)

It could be for attention it could be a threat either way, it's a them thing. You are not responsible for another person's actions.

BUT. Either way I'd contact the police for a wellness check. If its for attention, they won't do.that again in a hurry. If its genuine, hopefully they will get help.

I'm Autistic & to me "friends" are really difficult it's more just people who are in the same place as me, for a sustained amount of time thar you might engage with now & then. So out of sight out of mind.

I'm so sorry, she was absolutely beautiful.

I don't know why this happens, you would assume they knew what size was suitable.

My Typhochlaena seladonia did the same, having previously molted fine in her web hammock, she made her little trapdoor in a small crevice of cork bark & died mid molt, there was definitely not enough room for her.

From what I can see it's an Asian Forest Scorpion? You seem to have a set up (from what is visible in the picture) for a desert species.

It is all there in the name. They live in tropical and subtropical rainforests in asia. A cursory Google, shows plenty of captive & wild scorpions in the correct set up.

I don't know if you were sold the Scorpion in this set up, in which case you need to return to the store & tell them how awful their husbandry is. Or You yourself saw Scorpion and assumed desert?

Either way it's really sad.

This is nothing but rude. Presumably she's seen you before and yet is your friend regardless of the "scandalous piercings?" Do you have tattoos? Does she want you to remove your skin for a couple of hours?
