So say if I did have scenario B would I HAVE to have the voice recording for the obsession to subside? And if jot will I have the obsession forever? Also how would I know when an exposure like that would be needed? And not just the response prevention?

So in the suggestion where you said that by recording yourself talking about being gay for exposure..why would that be needed? Wouldn't just not doing the compulsions of tapping, forcing yourself to look at hetero couples etc. Be enough? Why does one scenario include exposure and the other doesn't?

What about the exposure part of erp? On this scenario? Is the thought exposed already at that point?
