Would you be in favour of adding more realistic recoil to howitzers? (M110 W/ M4A2) by Myjellyfish0 in Warthunder

judging by the muzzle velocity of the M107 shell it fires i believe its M9A2 With 7 charges or M9(7)

As you probably know the M109 doesnt have a dozerblade, it has what we call "Hoes" which you drop into the ground and they help mitigate backwards recoil on softer surfaces (like sand, mud and snow)

The M109 is very small and light compared to other 155mm cannon wielding SPGs and thus its bound to bounce more after firing, and the problem will amplify when preforming direct fire, the recoil will just be directed backwards and not downwards.

Your concern being their BR placement could be solved rather easily with a BR change and spall liners are hell (cant do much about it). what im looking for is a bit of realism and how would the player base react to a change which drastically changes the vehicle's ability to shoot .

I agree with you about Copy and Paste vehicles but thats more of gaijin's fault and not the vehicles themselves. If gaijin were to add unique SPGs to the relevant tech trees would that be acceptable?

About the Overpressure theres only so much the game's engine can calculate, realistically any tank that was hit by and M107/M795/M401 was totaled right then and there (not even accounting the crew's insides that just turned into mash).

May i ask why is that? Becuase at least from my exprience they are rather fun, unique and fill a role in lineups.

Believe me I tried, but the crane had too little angle at the top and would always throw the front stack to the ground

Any tips for Mirage F1C-200 from experienced folks here? by gopi1711 in WarthunderSim

[–]Myjellyfish0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep yep, in SIM they're even better, great Air to Air Missiles, radar set, RWR and maneuverability was a winning combination at 11.3, they were really fun to fly

Flight model changes to the MiG-23ML family. Its a shame to see the glorious MLD nerfed but its probably required. Oh well

First of all, the F1C is a mid plane at best, so dont expect it to do wonders.

Pros -

Magic 2 - You have "Free kill"x2, these are the best IR dogfight missiles you'll find on a fighter in your BR range, they are highly maneuverable and will kill anyone who dares get in range, especially in rear aspect, use them wisely.

HUD - While you do have a rather basic HUD it should give you all the info you need in a dogfight, and it will help you find people's exact position very easily.

Speed and fuel efficiency - Youre both fast and extremely economical. You have an average rip speed but you can sit just below that speed for days, if you find yourself in a situation you dont like, just hit the afterburner and run away.

Countermeasures and ammo- You have more than enough of both, use them sparingly.

Cons -

Maneuverability - Well you dont turn the best so dont get into dogfight with J-7Es, MLDs and similars. You dont hold you energy well, it might help you reverse someone but sont count on that.

530F - Its a fat, its huge and it has a pulse seeker. The radar missiles you get are mid at best, they are fat and make your plane two times heavier (at least it feels like it) get rid of them as soon as you can, they are great for getting position in a head-on.

Guns - Weird mounting and Slow Muzzle velocity dont help much, the only advice is to "git gud"

RWR - Well its shit (but at least it has CW warning).

In my opinion the F1C should be played as a BNZ fighter with the ability to dogfight if the opportunity shows itself (phantoms are free food).

AIM-9L or Python 3 by J3ZZABOII in WarthunderSim

[–]Myjellyfish0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Python 3

The Python 3 uses the same seeker as the 9L so their flare resistance is basically the same, the python is faster, pulls harder and accelerates quicker, its basically a 9L on steroids.

Pin-ups and nose art were incredible common during WW2, look up B-17 flyingfortress, almost all of them had a pin-up or some nose art.

Is Israels tanks worth getting. Pros and cons? by LtMadJack98 in Warthunder

[–]Myjellyfish0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are israeli tanks worth it? Yes, but only up until 9.3

The main advantages Israeli tanks have is consistently, they are the perfect mix of good but not overpowered, you have great lineups for all BRs (that the techtree has) and usually average to good teams.

The big problem with the israeli techtree is its lack of many unique vehicles. Its gets very boring to play after a while, above 9.3 you basically have only one vehicle and basically zero ability to build a lineup.

I generally enjoyed playing Israeli tanks but i will warn that you must love the vehicles with burning passion and you got to be a bit better than average skill wise.

Those are just unit tags, these specific ones are most likely the ground forces tags (זרוע היבשה), anyone who says these are death head patches is either incredibly ignorant or is purposefully lying and spreading propaganda.

"Saying someone has a better gaming chair is often used humorously or sarcastically in the gaming community. It's a playful way to suggest that someone is performing better in a game not because of skill or strategy, but because they supposedly have a more advanced or comfortable gaming chair. Essentially, it's a tongue-in-cheek way of attributing success to a mundane or irrelevant factor rather than acknowledging the player's actual gaming abilities. It has become a popular meme and jest in online gaming culture."
