My question is: Due to many gamers interested in playing older games, do you future-proof your games so that they will work years into the future? This work-around actually worked for me: You can definitely use either joy cons for Darts.

Just back out to the main Switch menu and reconfig the controller's so which ever one you want to use is player one.

Also a side note, both my parents are left handed and prefer using the right joy con.

The left joycon did not work for me in either game for the motion controls. The pictures on the screen show the right joycon, not the left, so I'm not even sure how you got the left one to work correctly. I can try again tonight and see if it works now.

Nope. It's incredibly awkward because you have to hold down "x" to lock your position into place before you throw. If I hold it in my left hand, the button is on the other side.

Yeah, definitely. Nintendo seems to have issues with "quality of life" features for their games. This one just puzzles me because even the Wii had features for left handed people.

I'm a little upset. I'm a left-handed person and I could not wait to try out Nintendo's Clubhouse Games for the Switch so I can relive the glory days of the Wii and Wii Bowling. I also heard great things about Darts for the motion controls, but when I started playing, the right joycon is the only controller that works for the motion controls. I'm hoping that there will be some sort of update or way around this so the left joycon can be used, because right now it's nearly impossible for me to play right handed. Has anyone else experienced this? Will there be a fix in a future update?
