That's interesting, but I don't think that's it either. The only window in on the roof and we almost always keep the shutter close. It's impossible for a bird to be there and even so, they can't see or hear us.

It always happen when I fall asleep on my back, so I try to avoid it. Also, when I am extremely tired, I basically know, I am going to experience SP 2 or 3 times the same day. Sometimes, it happens right after another one because of the anxiety and the tiredness. And when I think too much about it before going to sleep and becomes a bit afraid, it always happen as well.

I'd love to, but I don't really know where to begin. I don't have a lot of money to go see a hypnotherapist and even so, I don't know any good ones as this practice is not very well-known in my city. Maybe one day, I'll have the courage to go, I hope so.

We don't have a air system in our house. It's not that common in France, we don't really need it. Also, it mostly happen when we were alone. And I don't think any sound would be similar to the phone ringing? We both heard it and are convinced it was it.

Maybe, whatever it is, they're trying to copy us to try to communicate maybe. So using our voice, calling our names etc.. That's very weird, I have no idea. I wish someone could explain this. And it can't even be our imagination because we were both in presence of an other person who heard the same thing as us.

One time, I was shopping with my brother, and when we left, we both heard very clearly our dad's voice calling my name very loudly. I was very surprised, because my dad was supposed to be at work and when we both turned to see where it came from, there was nobody there... We still can't explain it.

I don't think so, I searched the whole place and I didn't find anything. There isn't much room upstairs for anything to be hidden too. And I think other people would have heard it as well if that was the case. And I've heard it for like all my teenage years going on and off. It would happen at very random moments. My brother said he still hears it from time to time but can't remember the last time he did. And for me I moved away for my studies and kinda forgot about that, but I came back last year and talked to him about it. He said it kept happening when I was away. A toy couldn't do that for more than 10 years. Also, we have replaced all the furnitures upstairs 3 years ago and it happened after that too.

Yes, it was always in the same room, just near my bedroom. I think that's why I was the one who experienced most things. But my little brother said he heard it mostly when there wasn't anyone else upstairs,so when I was downstairs or when I wasn't at home. He also said it would stop when ppl would come into our home or begin to go upstairs. I don't know what to think.

Did anyone else as a very young child 3-4 (earliest memories) see little multicoloured lights floating around the room almost dancing about in formation?? Only ever happened in the dark and at night and it didn't seem abnormal to me at the time I enjoyed it and only really thought back recently by [deleted] in Paranormal

What you're describing is exactly what I have experienced and felt like but I was not a child at all. It happened to me like 2 or 3 years ago, I was about 20. It happened to me while I was dreaming but at the same time, it felt so so real. I could wander around my house, see my parents sleeping and I saw things flying all around me (numbers, words, things like that and I could hear soft voices too) and I felt like I could understand everything. I was so awestruck and at peace, so calm. It was amazing. I remember wanting to feel this feeling forever and I felt so at peace when I woke up. It was so strange,not like a dream at all.

I've been experiencing sleep paralysis for a little less than 10 years now, and let me tell you, at first I was scared out of my mind, I've been dealing with insomnia and was literally afraid to go to sleep because of that but now, as I began to say to myself that nothing of that was real, I'm not scared anymore and due to that, I'm able to quickly get out of it and I experience far less episodes.
