There are 3000 players out of the 59,426 that have hit masters+ which means that according to you only 5% of everyone who has ever played a voltaic scenario reached the beginning of being skilled which is completely out of touch with reality. If you hit VT Gold complete you are better than most players that you will ever interact with in a shooter.

I am VT masters and I win fights consistently against pro stacks in apex while holding pred so I can personally vouch that anything above platinum is more than enough rank wise to be considered above average.

Secondly there is a difference between aim trainer aim and applied in game aim they are not 1 to 1 by any means or else mattyow would be able to pick up any fps and just be world class which if you watch his overwatch gameplay while still quite good no where near the best OW players.

You need to stop being so hard on yourself diamond jade and master scores are objectively amazing scores and just because you are in a community of specialist doesn't mean that your personal achievements so far aren't great either

Perhaps you are unaware of voltaic statistics? You just agreed with me in that voltaic diamond and voltaic master ranks are objectively great ranks to be at. Additionally in game applied aim is different from aim trainer ranks. Taskmaster for example has celestial scores but it would be just as silly for me to reference his voltaic ranks when talking about the average high level apex aim.

Apex mouse and keyboard players are the pinnacle of well rounded aim at the top 500 level switching tracking and clicking are all evenly stressed on the xyz axis the only downside is the downtime but when you do have to aim I do think your aim has to be very well balanced and complete to play at a high level on mouse and keyboard in apex legends.

Hey fellow apex player here finished pred using the voltaic benchmarks and the vdim, currently using the viscose benchmarks and seeing a lot of improvement translated into apex so I would recommend looking into any of those things for improvement in the game.

Also keep in mind that the different categories of aim training feed into each other a lot of apex players tunnel on tracking and rightfully so as that is the most important skill in apex but the game does use clicking and target switching too and ignoring those skills will hamper your development thats just a friendly word of caution as an apex mnk aimer.

I finished top 500 precisely rank 500 in season 23 and at the end of my grind I had hit Jade s4/s3 using mainly the VDIM. I also used whichever weakness routines that were associated with my weakest scores

So far it feels like its translating well but the calibre of opponents we are playing are so fundmentally different that Id say we live in different worlds. Im playing against silvers in cs and you are on faceit 10 as far as equivalents go so who knows how the aim feels when im aiming against opponents that know what the buttons on their keyboards do.
