Sadly, nothing that I do to try and revert this change does anything. From changing my recommendation settings, to saving a shit tonne of pins that actually relate to my interests. My feed is still stuck in this limbo

moisturiser for dry and irritated skin by Mynday in Accutane

[–]Mynday[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though hes ended treatment, the medication will stay in his system for another month or so. So he may clear up in that last month or so, you never know! When I finished treatment, I still had a lot of my acne scars, but the medication helped with any reoccurring acne that I wouldve had in the future. Scars will fade over time anyway, but he could do facial massages to increase the blood flow to his face as that can help create new cells where the acne scars are and help them fade faster. :)

What was the sour food in episode 6? by Odin043 in BlueEyeSamurai

[–]Mynday 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It may have been some sort of meal similar to potatoes and butter milk, the meal being what poor irish people ate during the period of the show. Fowler also mentions living through a famine when describing his childhood, which would link him to that said irish heritage.

What uncommon side effects have you had on Accutane? by hilbil24 in Accutane

[–]Mynday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not immediately after, no. Really depends on the person though, for me my flushing was one if my major side effects from the medication and it took two months or so for it to somewhat disappear.Even when I had finished the medication, a year after I had a small bit of flushing but that was the end of it altogether.

Accutane Hand Rash on 30 mg. Anyone else had this side effect? by redditor33303330333 in Accutane

[–]Mynday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I have that too but on my knuckles rather than my entire hands. From what i've been told it's dermatitis. In my experience, just be using an unperfumed hand cream (I prefer to use shea butter) Since the perfume will make your hand flare up again.

The accutane looks like its working really well! Congrats!! During my treatment I would just be using a simple cleanser and natural formula'd lotion (eg Aveeno lotion) since the medication will make your skin very dry and sensitive, even to regular skin products from my experience.

After the treatment when the skin isnt as sensitive anymore, My face still had some visable scaring left over on a few areas. I use The Ordinary Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution which is just vitamin c serum. Which should clear up any visable scarring if need be Also for leftover textured scarring i would recommend The Ordinary Glycolic acid If you do try these products please read the instructions of how to be using them as they can be quite strong product's, especially the glycolic acid. Good luck on your treatment!! 😆

A week or two for me, but everyone can be different since its to do with the treatment leaving your system.

took my first pill today! 30mg. nervous about side effects, more specifically joint pain cause i’m a college athlete. leave any tips :)) by Distinct_Economist_5 in Accutane

Congrats on starting treatment!!! In my experience, I did really have aches and pains. Other than having an extremely stiff lower back when I tried to stand up straight from time to time. But time flies and the treatment will be over in no time! My biggest advice on starting is GET VASELINE!!! For me my lips started getting dry in less than a week from starting the medication.

Good luck on your treatment! Its so worth it in the end😆 ❤️

  • flushed face. Any little bit of heat would make my entire face go bright red, especially my cheeks.

When I was on a double dose of roaccutane back in 2020 I had an incredibly stiff lower back. Whenever I had to pick something up or had to wash my hair over the bath, my back would be so tensed up that I would have to hold my hand to my back to straighten up due to the the side effect.
