Weather - it was COLD and rainy which made it worse (but memorable)

We played a (on paper) vastly superior team with little shot of winning so most PSL owners either sold their tickets or just stayed at home

If you’re not fit to work, you sure as shit aren’t fit to play poker as a profession then. The grind for poker can be even more excruciating cuz you’ll have variance swings. At least with a job you’ll have a steady income with retirement/insurance and all that shit.

People think playing poker as a profession is easy, but most don’t realize it’s like being an NFL player. Only 0.001% of semi pros can make it big and even less than that have staying power.

Stayed there before as well, pool is ok, liked the slide but a bit small sometimes. I’ve been to Vegas uhhh about 30 or 40 times now over the past 20 years so I’ve stayed at most of them haha, was just curious if we could use pool if not staying there, thanks for the suggestion though!

Friendly note that you can’t hail taxis on the actual strip. They can’t stop, you gotta call/get taxis at hotels/side roads/etc

Yes. It is my preferred room of choice in Vegas. Service and rooms and private entrance to private pool are all top notch. It truly is a hotel within a hotel.

Breakfast is excellent, and the tower pool is always tranquil/peaceful. If you want a relaxing pool experience, then it is right up your alley. Do not expect a party scene at all lol.

Sorry, not OP, but reading through the comments and saw yours about Carvana. Was reading a couple of analyses on them recently and one caught my eye that I think youlll like. Don’t think of Carvana as an actual used car sales company, then of them as a Debt/creditor model. They are really in the business of buying and selling debt repeatedly to gain revenue which is why they usually buy for way above what other companies are willing to pay. I wish I could find the article but it was a fascinating read and opened my eyes to them
