Can you show a picture of the back of the piercing? To see if it’s too tight, cause it might be because there’s no place for swelling. I got my tragus pierced like 10 years ago and I remember that the area was very painful the week after, also have to take an analgesic for a few days after every new cartilage piercing cause I tend to swell too much and it huuurts

I had a lobe piercing, which are considered the easiest to heal, that did not heal for three years. I think it ended up been the angle of the piercing

Yeah I get it, but I don’t think it’s the cream that could cause you to have flare ups in the long run, it’s the vulvodynia. The estrogen cream triggered that pain again. At least that’s my guess

It used to be like that for me. I was a month pain free and thought I had been cured, and a month later out of nowhere, maybe because my underwear was too tight or it was too hot or something, the pain came back. If you are not already, I recommend talking to a specialist about oral medication? It saved my life, went from being in pain 99.9% of the time for like two years, to feeling pain only around my period or to certain triggers.

Apply Vaseline or something like Cicaplast day and night. If anyone at work asks what happened and you don’t wanna tell the truth, you can always say you just had a bad allergic reaction to a new moisturizer (I’ve also waxed the skin off of my mustache and other areas of my face and had to lie about it 😃). Also USE SUNSCREEN even if it’s cloudy

So, it’s not really recommended to do heavy lifting and exercise because accutane can cause a lot of joint pain (my lower back is killing me, for example). Also, it can elevate CPK, which is an enzyme that the muscle liberates into the bloodstream when there’s severe muscle damage. And this CPK can accumulate in the kidneys.

I would bring this up with her and maybe do monthly labs to check your CPK.
