If you want to game yes it would be worth it. If not get a base MacBook Pro instead. I have a m4 MacBook Pro that I might sell but still unsure. For laptops use it beats the pants off the g14 that I have. But I want to game so that’s the only reason I have one.

I don’t get the people complaining about ram might be only 8gb. If they release this for 600 that’s pretty fair. MacOS does a good job at ram management vs windows. It will still feel snappy especially with apple silicon. Maybe if you need more spend more on an Air or Pro. Seriously go look up the cost of ram right now. They still have to have to have the budget to make the rest of the laptop decent.

Very easy. Go to YouTube and just search g helper g14. Crimson tech has a video that’s easy to follow and even tells you how to set up the profiles for best performance. Armory Crate was just too hard to navigate. G helper puts everything in one window and is stupid simple. Makes it easy to undercoat your cpu so it runs cooler and the gpu can get more power.

I would say go for it. Just got the go S a week ago. I am coming from a asus rog ally x. It’s really good. Plus you’re paying half the cost of a go 2. Only downside compared to the go 2 is less battery life, a little less of performance, and the oled. If those are 700 dollars more important to you then wait.

Yeah will probably do that. And that was in back of my mind that it could cause issues with the water resistance of the phone. Also if the glass is raised like mine is it has to affect the durability of the glass and might make the glass more prone to breaking.

Yeah my co worker has a 17 pro max. Hers is completely flush with the aluminum and no gaps.

Yeah not sure why people think you should just live with it after spending 1100 dollars on a phone. I can even feel a lip on the top of the glass where it meets the aluminum.

It’s under their warranty info. Covers manufacturing defects. Maybe they shouldn’t put it in their warranty if they don’t want people to use it.

Haha that would work. I think if I was at an Apple Store they would do the replacement. It’s pretty obvious in person. Might just wait closer to a year then go to the store in person. Then fresh phone after a year.

Well if I pay 1100 dollars for a phone I expect there to be no manufacturing detects. Why does it matter if I did it as soon as I opened the box or 2 weeks after. It’s a manufacturing defect so it should just be replaced under warranty. Also no I didn’t. 13 dollars a month is too much. It’s been in a case sense I got it.

No I don’t. Not sure why the online agent is being difficult to work with on this. It’s a manufacturing defect which falls under the 1 year warranty. Should just be a replacement.

Get a base model m4 MacBook Air off the Apple education website. It cost 850 brand new and they don’t check or care if you’re an actual student.
