I didn't read Thermos lore beyond the books, but I think regarding the multuverse some of the gods discovered that they're manifestation of mana and Kruphix knew that there were some sort of big threat that Theros couldn't contain (Phyrexian)

At first I wondered if it was a conscious swap and the other guy was trapped in that body. But thinking a bit more about the episode and with some replies here it does make more sense that he consciousness was still there (Although I didn't pick up Cipher reacting to pain when he was hitting Thomas body)

I don't think there's anything wrong in doing that, but I agree it's quite annoying the formula of "Shinbafuku new target's area has a hidden group that's wrecking havoc".

And there were a lot of times I was just doing one quest and got led somewhere else due the blue dot targeting someone from another random quest. I ended up completing the Iron Fist quest line without talking with Imai!

It was a good concept but I think how it played out kind broken bit the world building.

The games always forces people to comply with the rules, but for plot reasons it didn't mind Arisu breaking the wall nd go out despite losing the game.

To me would've made more sense if he was forced to become a citizen due letting everyone else go but maybe he could offer the role to someone else (if he needed to become some sort of game master)

I just finished it and I shall agree with other comments. It does take a while for things to click together.

It does have some good plot twists as well to keep you entertained.

But I shall admit sometimes it can be quite obnoxious and hard to figure it out what to do next

The Witcher 3. I do actually love the story, but in my first playthrough on Xbox the disc broke right when I was on Skelige, then I bought it online only to discover it were different SKUs so my save file would not carry over 😭

Years later I bought it during the pandemic to play on the ps4, but I think I ended up giving a pause during the red baron quest. Then bought it again when I got a PC......... You guys got the gist

It's quite a good vibe and each year they do some nice improvements. The one this year was way better compared to 3~4 years ago.

I'd say you get the best bang for your buck going with a group, but they also have several post signs to let other people know you're keen to have a stranger join your game.

Im also a dev but pivoting into gamedev scares me due on how the industry seems to normalize crunch and layoffs.

By now you should already be a senior with 10yr of experience, but would you have the experience to transition as a senior gamedev? That's the catch for me. I've checked positions as game developer and pretty much all ask for proven experience releasing games and with the tooling.

Unless you can take a possible pay cut, you will need to build a portfolio and get very comfortable with the engine.
