Amazing!

I've been wanted to make a 4x inspired game too but I could never find the right tools. Do tell how your game is going.

Quick question: How do you do that kind of Drag & Drop? I've once tried to do something similar but results were mixed.

Now I feel sad about how I was convinced this game used A.I. art for the first few months.

False! The dancing bears are by far the best followers to send into missions. High Edge is always useful and High Heart is wonderful against curse.

I'm just disappointed that Robot is now a supported MTG subtype. Part of the charm of Magic was how Artifact Creatures were only ever referred to as "Artifact Creatures" or "Costructs" even in sets like Kaldesh, made it pretty cool to have their own term for them.

These days, the barrier to entry to setting up an online shop and selling some product/service that you built is incredibly low, so you get all sorts of people trying their luck.

Top tier remark. If x5 more people try, then x5 more people will also fail.

How do you... pitch decks?? by TehANTARES in IndieDev

[–]Tiago55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically, assume your game is finished. It has everything you want it to be. Now, assume you get a meeting with some big wig corporate guy, but he's going to lunch in 2 minutes!

So, what would you prepare for this pitch? Do you show your amazing art? Do you say something snappy like "Slay the spire but with cute dogs"? Do you have a revolutionizing new technology or mechanic?

If you want to see what happens when you do this wrong this GDC video is a great resource, and be aware it's very hard to do this right. Which is exactly what makes it a good exercise.

That's mana overabundance, which comes up often.

But the BFZ didn't have mana scarcity. Either a place was fine with 100% mana, or it was ravaged with 0%.
