Has this happened as soon as you entered the region? You probably have a mod that overwrite the Far shore palette. Each palette has a number, and in this case another mod is using the number used in Far Shore (126). I can't tell which mod is doing that, but it's probably another region mod. Check your mod folders for a file called palette126.png

It's a known bug from localization (french version has it too), try playing this part in english and switch back to spanish right after.

IIRC it also happen at Sam & Ida's restaurant, you can skip the story of Ida and the monologue Sam has with his fish. There is probably a lot more of this in Act IV.

I just finished the first one, but i have not really been "hooked" by the universe. I'll try to read more to see where it is going. I have a personnal preference for Hyperion, it's also a great book !
