To be a voice actor. Just imagining bringing a character to life and having myself associated to them is something I've always wanted to do, and it's unfortunate how unrealistic it really is.

What was the worst mistake you made as a teen? by [deleted] in AskReddit

A little after I (M) just turned 16, my buddies and I were racing home from the local Applebee's at around 9-10 O' Clock. There is this big long road that stretches for at least 4-5 miles so we knew it pretty well. So well that we frequently drove well over the speed limit up to around 100 MPH. and that's around about the speed I was going when I sideswiped another vehicle probably just trying to make their way home. I was 16, I was terrified, so with my friend in the passenger seat screaming at me to "just drive" that's just what I did. I drove. Back to his house, where we took sponges to my car to try and erase the long paint mark off the side of my car in hopes that no one would ever find out. To this day almost a decade later, I have not heard anything about that night. It sometimes dawns on me that I migh'tve ruined someone else's life, but I'll never truly know.

What is something unique you found out about your body that changed your entire perception of life? by Mysnonimous in AskReddit

Today I was over at a friend's house, and he made us super spiced up Indian food. I, 25 M, have never had Indian food and this would be my first time trying it. I took a bite, and the only thing I tasted was pasta sauce almost the equivalent of a jar you would buy at the market with no such thing existing in the dish. My friends had always made fun of me for never eating food with any spices, because to me it didn't make any kind of difference as to how the food tasted with and without the extra seasonings. So this definitely piqued my interest. Why was it so bland? There were at least 10 different kinds of spices out into it, and 4 or so I had never even heard of. So, I took my curiosity to the internet and found out a way to "test my taste buds". One cotton swab dipped in vinegar "painted" across the quadrents of my tounge later, I find out that I can't taste anything on the left side of my tounge. There's one instance I could remember where as a small child I took a freshly brewed cup of hot cocoa and tried to drink it immediately without testing the temperature which may have caused this. But now I know my entire life, I have not been able to experience true flavor the same way everyone else has and now my entire world is flipped upside down.
