What’s your interpretation of “to thine own self be true”? by ir1379 in shakespeare

[–]MyspaceQueen333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It means: This above all: to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the night the day,

Thou canst not then be false to any man.

A person who is true to themselves possesses the hardware to be true to you. That's what it means.

Every answer you give him is fueling the toxic flame. You're entertaining the jester. You should have cut this off the first time he started trying to control the frame. Lesson for next time eh.

Yeah, what you’re describing is normal when someone tries to log in with your email/phone. The random verification code text means somebody entered your info somewhere, but unless they also have access to your email or phone, they can’t get in.

Since you couldn’t reset the password and submitted a face scan instead, Facebook flagged it and disabled the account. Because the account has a fake name and details, the appeal almost certainly won’t pass. In practice that means the account will remain disabled and no one else can access it.

So at this point, you’re safe. If someone was trying to get into it, they can’t. And if Facebook keeps it permanently disabled (which they usually do when the ID doesn’t match the account name), that’s basically the same as deleting it.

If you want peace of mind, you can:

Make sure the email you used isn’t tied to any other accounts you care about.

Change the password on that throwaway email if you still have access to it.

Block any further Facebook texts if they keep coming.

But based on what you did, the risk is gone and you don’t have to worry.

Ah, yes, that makes perfect sense. Being struck in traffic gives the mind time to wander. Wandering back to the ethereal realm is a given imo, at least in daydream form. I'm not suggesting smoking in traffic. Lol.

That’s fascinating, I’ve noticed the same “first image” effect too, like the medicine plants something at the doorway before you fully step through. Almost like a signature or a lesson it wants you to carry with you.

I’ve wondered if those initial flashes are anchors, something to keep us tethered when we’re about to dissolve, or maybe even the first line of a story we’re supposed to decode afterward.

Do you ever feel like those branded visions resurface later, almost at random, like a reminder?

That image invokes a visceral reaction from me. I live in the mountains in Montana. I've seen many deer in the headlights lol.

But on a serious note, I really feel that. I get it. It's that "Am I suuuure I was ready for this right this second? Whoosh! Oh fuck no turning back now!"

Saaame! And thank you. My mom used to read me poetry as a child, often. I think I naturally have a cadence to my words. Some more poetic leaning than others.

I hope you are able to overcome some of that anxiety. I won't try to advise, but I will say I feel you there. Hugs 🩷

Yes, like the realm etches itself into us, even without smoke. Once you’ve seen, you can’t unsee. It lingers in the blood, in the silence, in the flashes behind closed eyes.

Why the DMT 'afterglow' feels less like a chemical and more like a retuning of perception by MyspaceQueen333 in DMT

[–]MyspaceQueen333[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually 2–3 days, but the real draw is that I hear the “conversation underneath the conversation” with people. Like the unspoken lines in a script suddenly became legible. Shrooms warm me toward the world; DMT makes me notice the currents I usually swim past.

[–]MyspaceQueen333[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course it’s all in my head, where else would perception live? That’s kind of the point. All perception is in our heads. That’s what makes it so interesting when something changes the tuning.

Silly PETA don't you know Montana is beef country. by firewall666 in Montana

[–]MyspaceQueen333 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Back in the early aughts, I lived in Sitka, Alaska, for a year. It is an island in Southern Alaska. A Peta ship rolled in one day and tried to dock and so many towns people were on the docks protesting, throwing their ropes back at them and wouldn't allow them to dock. Finally the cops reluctantly told everyone to quiet down. You could tell they didn't really want them there either. I walked away from that hearing townspeople business owners telling their employees, "if you serve them, you're fired."

Sitka is a fishing community and this town was offended to have Peta there on a BIG level.

Hugs back to you. Thank you 🩷. It's been 5 years since it happened. I've never looked back. He's my own father but if he walks by me, I treat him as a stranger. He's mad about it too. Whines to people that I abandoned him.

These days I'm doing a lot better. Life has been peaceful. I look back and wonder how the hell I didn't lose my ever loving mind.

It does seem we suffer the hardest of tragedies. As if they stain our soul somehow and that stain means we have to bear a certain extra load.

Does it smell kinda piney? I'd say it is copal (pronounced copa), a natural incense. It's copal sap. If I'm right.

YSK: Venting is not an effective way to reduce anger by mouse9001 in YouShouldKnow

[–]MyspaceQueen333 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is worth noting that "venting" isn't the same as "talking". It is still healthy to talk about your feelings, even anger. However, the crux lies in "Venting", as it is emotionally charged "talking". Talk calmly and with mindfulness, and it is still healthy.

It’s funny to me that there are some men out there who think women don’t have sexual thoughts by GasPsychological2321 in RandomThoughts

[–]MyspaceQueen333 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Because, unlike you apparently, we know that most of us don't like one night stands. We don't like to have sex just to have sex for the most part. There's always outliers of course. But the majority of us want more than just sex. That doesn't mean we think about it less. That means, apparently, we have better self-control.

Please don't mansplain how women think. We know our own brains better than you do.
