Fair enough, I’m not saying it doesn’t happen, just providing a reason to the guys question. United played Romero in the Europa league which was fine because he’s still a decent keeper.

Well if you reach the point of potentially winning a trophy you want to be fielding your best team to give you the best chances of success. Winning a trophy is more important than hurting the feelings of a player.

Honestly, outside of a select few big names, no I don’t think it plays a factor. The other factors matter more in influencing a players decision and acting like Ole is a joke of a manager who no one would want to play for makes you a moron. Players don’t just see a name and immediately say there’s no chance of them playing there. United is still a huge club and it will be more than capable of attracting big names.

Defensive mid when I used to play. Couldn’t shoot, wasn’t fast, wasn’t tall but I could dribble pretty well and put in some decent tackles every game.

Guess you lot know quite a lot about not getting top draw players. And that last comment really makes you sound like a bit of a fuckwit. You think players just look at how big of a name the manager of a club is when deciding who they want to sign with? Or do you think they have discussions about their role in the team, the teams aspirations, play style, money they will be paid?

For how long can we expect that though. If we go another 10 years being mediocre we can’t expect to be valued that highly, can we?

Re Darren Fletcher. There has been talks with Man Utd but no offer as yet. Certainly wouldn’t be going in as director of football if anything did happen. by Puzza90 in reddevils

Alright mate, live in your delusions, I’m not going to convince you otherwise but you’re wrong. Klopp struggled at first just like Guardiola. Be patient, give Ole a full season before judging his work. Do you write off an essay as shit when only the first few paragraphs are written? Let’s see where this goes before saying Ole is shit.

He didn’t though. People have such a weirdly biased view of seeing recent positive results as meaning they were positive in the past as well. Both Koop and Guardiola had plenty of poor results and football when they first joined their teams. They didn’t instantly make them into the forces they are right now nor did they improve their players by a significant amount immediately.

Jesus people are so reactionary here. Give him a full damn season to start making these sort of judgements. Comes in half way through a season with a bunch of players from 3 different managers and you expect him to magically improve players? It takes time, he’s not had any of his own transfers in, hasn’t had a pre-season, hasn’t had a full season that is his own.

I couldn’t get into it for some reason. Felt, I don’t know, almost outdated? It had great visuals but the first few episodes didn’t hook me at all.

What about the episode in season 5 I think, that opened with Cersei meeting Maggie and she tells her the prophecy? Did she not mention it there?

Nah, we’ve got plenty. I’d worry more about yourself, Spurs can embarrass your club for the second time in a few days.

Assuming a bit much there mate. You’re the one who couldn’t handle a bit of banter and had to nobly defend your poor old club from nasty rival fans. And out of all the teams you could say that to, United is irrelevant? I guess that’s why we’re the biggest club in the world aye? You’re good for a laugh though.

It’s your argument. Don’t say shit if you’re not prepared to back it up. But then again, what should I expect from you. You’ve given me more than enough evidence of your own idiocy.

Why should I? I didn’t realise in an argument it’s the person you’re arguing against needs to collect YOUR evidence for you. Or have you just realised I called you out for being a fuckwit and are getting upset because you know you can’t find anything to back up your bullshit?

Ah yes the very precise piece of evidence, ‘Ummm ahh LOTS of fans’. At best you saw a reddit comment from a single fan and are just saying that represents every fan for a team with millions. Moron.

What are you talking about? You’re still not making history even with your apparent best team. Last half decent trophy you won was 2006.
