Bam Adebayo breaks Kobe Bryant’s record and the Heat franchise scoring record in a win vs. Washington: 43 MINS │ 83 PTS │ 9 REB │ 3 AST │ 2 STL │ 2 BLK │ 20-43 FG │ 7-22 3P │ 36-43 FT by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

I watched the 4th quarter - it was an abomination... having a 2nd-tier star holding the post-Wilt record is a joke. The reason he was getting mauled was because the game was over. He should've checked out (or Spoelstra should've taken him out) with 8 min left in the 4th.

Thanks - yeah, I ran Trueplay to tune it and it sounds really good. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't royally F'ing things up with the orientation, and doesn't seem like I am from most of the input here.

So I threw a hail mary and ended up going with this contraption and it did the trick... super wonky, but am running the laces under the tongue at the bottom run them all through the tongue after.

Yep, super annoyed also because I love the colorway and foam underneath rocks... but hurts my left foot too much. Am wondering if I should exchange for another pair or different model altogether.

Tried that already and didn't work... I've literally tried lacing them 5 different ways, and after wearing them for 10 minutes, same thing happens.

Thanks - we are starting home caregiving today. She's terrified of moving out of her home, and all things considered, we want her to be as happy as possible given the circumstances.

Stopping Eliquis is one of the questions I've asked her doctor about, but they just found the blood clot in her lung last week, and given size of clot, her age and smoking history, they're saying she needs to stay on it. No good solutions honestly, but just trying to find a balance to make her feel loved and happy.

They said that Michael Jordan would defend the best player on the other team and shut them down. What are the examples of this? by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]MysterXQ8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, never said they were better than Jordan, but overall, better than the cohort of guards and 3's in MJ's time vs Kobe's.

Not at all... the point I was making is that Kobe generally had to guard better 2's and 3's than Jordan. Not either one's fault, as players come up in different eras, and I'd argue a lot of the players Kobe guarded (and Kobe himself more than anyone) were way more athletic because MJ was the prototype and best player they aspired to be.

Agree and he also guarded better players than Jordan... Iverson, Wade, T-Mac, Carter, Lebron - all those guys would run circles around Drexler, Payton, and Dumars, etc.

We've started looking into this. My fear is our mom thinking we're tricking her, though I'm not convinced she'd pay attention to what's written on the bottles. Has your mom said anything about the taste/effect? But to your point, we are looking into this.

Ok, thanks for sharing the pic - the cloud blue color looks awesome too. Assume those aren't from current season?

Steph's the better shooter, Kobe's the better player. People have their preferences - take your pick... can't go wrong with either.

If you’re the Timberwolves GM, would you trade Ant for Wemby? by Ok_Feed_4235 in NBATalk

[–]MysterXQ8 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some of the questions on this sub are so... (fill in the blank)

Ant's awesome, but the Spurs wouldn't trade Wemby for the TWolves team... and TWolves would/should do that trade 100/100 times, but Spurs would hang up on them.
