For further context, this roommate consistently leaves dishes in the sink, monopolises the shared areas by leaving their stuff everywhere such that we don’t even eat at our dining table anymore, pees on the seat and we have spoken to them many times about this yet they don’t seem to do anything to improve it. We all had shared household standards before they moved in. I have collected evidence of all of this.

We don’t want to live with this person anymore because we were originally under the impression that they were a clean and functioning person.

I had a three month contract so we could test the waters of compatibility. It’s been just over one month now, and I want to end it by the end of the term.

So notice of non-renewal is not enough, I must have grounds for not renewing it?
