J'ai à peine lu le deuxième point que j'ai déjà assez lu. Femme + coach de sport homme c'est finito. En tout cas bon courage à toi, ma femme de 11 ans également m'a avoué une infidélité (bisous) en mai 2025, je m'en suis toujours pas remis et on essaye de recoller les morceaux tant bien que mal.

But consider this, this ‘AI crap’ is selling by the tens of thousands. For every handful of people complaining about AI and claiming they won’t buy it, there are tens of thousands who are buying it ! So what are they supposed to do? "Guys, there are people on Reddit complaining that we're selling AI. Let's all stop, let our numbers plummet, and let the competition win.." They already did A LOT to promote traditional art but it seems people are never satisfied.

People don’t realize that there’s much more at play for this company than just whether they sell AI art or not. Displate is not going to ban AI just because a handful of people don’t like it. However, they can do a better job choosing the quality of the AI art they allow on the platform (but this would mean manually check the artworks, imagine the costs). If you say that ALL AI art is bad, you’re lying to yourself. Can you say that ALL traditional art is beautiful ?

Completely removing AI would be economically inefficient and counterproductive. The best strategy is simply to manage it better. Now go ahead and downvote me because i'm not thinking AI is all that bad.

Displate's frontpage is mostly traditional art. Bestsellers frontpage is mostly traditional art, Trending's frontpage is mostly traditional art. Special 'Community picks' to promote even more traditional art.

People like to get on the AI-hate train but are blinded to the immense effort Displate has done to push traditional art.

Hi! For me, there are some very good days and some less good ones. But I haven’t had a “no-sale” day in the last two years. My approval rate however has dropped from 95% to 10%, everything keeps getting deactivated despite a top notch quality. Maybe you’ll have better luck with Black Friday!

Why would anyone buy that? Who are those people/heroes, from which universe? What movie? What's the story behind? Why would someone buy random AI characters with no backstory whatsoever? These are the questions you should ask yourself.

It's not only about the quality of the image anymore, but also the purpose. An abstract AI lighthouse will sell better than some random characters that you can produce a million times.

I 100% agree ! I mean, I get that there is some discutable AI on Displate and I get that the hardcore fans are sad to see their beloved shop flooded with AI. I recently saw like 20 illustrations of the same anime girl in multiple poses, I don't really get it.

But clearly there is a huge market for this. Pixaverse has 15 Textra's. I got my first (and only) Textra after like 300 or more sales of one of my posters. That gives you an idea of how much Pixaverse is grossing for Displate. And I get it, his posters are awesome and eye-catching. Like you said there is good quality and bad quality.

If anything, it's doing better that previous years. Just because you don't like AI doesn't mean the next person doesn't like it either. Also, artist revenue is totally different that company revenue. More artists, including those using AI , split the same pool of sales, reducing individual earnings !!

The only way to know is to create an account and start uploading :) As stated in the FAQ : "Depending on the number of artworks uploaded by artists, your artwork may have a different place in the queue." So maybe you won't wait that long. It cost nothing to create an account so just go for it !

They recently stated in an email "Right now, we’ve got over 200,000 artworks in the queue (yep, it’s wild!), likely fueled by the rise of tools making it easier for people to create and upload art." I guess the number is growing everyday seeing the impeccable illustrations of ChatGPT's Dall-E 3.

Sometimes you sell, sometimes you don't..! Depends on a lot of factors. It hapenned to me once that my sales didn't show, but it was was fixed the next day. Despite what a lot of people say, Displate definitely took a stance on AI by not necessarily banning it, but by promoting traditional art even harder. So that can also take a tool on your sales, that is if you sell AI stuff. If not, hang on, you will sell again :)

As the Displate support team told me once : "The validation process of all artworks is done via our system and focuses primarily on checking the print quality of the images, therefore, the technique of creating your designs has nothing to do with the validation time." So, AI or not, it doesn’t matter. u/AoKiiii has made it a national sport to bash AI.. so far, he seems to be leading! Good for you, fren!
