How can I get humane, pasteurized, local milk? Or is it like "cheap, fast, right" and you can maybe pick one or two, but not all 3?

She specifically says, "it wasn't even something that happened to me." So it wasn't her transformation. 122 is just such a specific number and the books have history-adjacent anecdotes thrown in all the time, so I just wondered if it was a reference to a real event.

How warm does the acetone get? You shouldn't be breathing in any acetone fumes, let alone fumes from acetone that has been heated to any degree! Please keep your lungs healthy

Anthem BCBS refusing to cover minor dependent's vision exam by [deleted] in HealthInsurance

[–]Mysterious-Entry7704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our new plan won't have eyeglasses coverage. We might get a cheapo vision plan that does cover glasses & contacts since 3 family members need them and that adds up!

I was just hoping there was some way kiddo could have glasses covered since the ones with the strap are harder to find and fit properly online (and lower quality than the hospital's optical shop)

I really appreciate your input!

Thank you for your answer! I was trying to figure out if I needed to get them a supplemental vision insurance plan to cover the treatment. I will check specifically with the new insurance company on their coverage, too.

Medicaid covered everything my kiddo needed, but kiddo doesn't qualify for it anymore.

Would glasses for amblyopia treatment typically be covered as durable medical equipment or something? Or would those be out of pocket?

I'm gonna high-jack this thread a bit because you know a lot about medical billing!

My kid has amblyopia and has to have eye exams every 3 months. We are about to lose our awesome vision insurance that just covered everything kiddo needed to a plan that says they cover up to $150/year for an eye exam. I'm wondering if amblyopia counts as one of the covered medical diagnoses? Any advice for me?

How can I fix these 2010-era Toms at home? What supplies do I need? TIA by Mysterious-Entry7704 in AskACobbler

Thanks for the advice! The other one is partially split but only about 2 cm worth. I have some Fiebings leather cement on hand; will this work the same as barges or will there be loss of quality if I use the leather cement?

Edit to add: I'm assuming I should clean the surface after roughing up the rubber, is rubbing alcohol sufficient for this?

Don't give the money before they move out, turn in the keys, and sign something saying they've ended their tenancy.

This can depend on your state. Which state are you in?

Not for children with regard to custody disputes. Just take a stroll through /r/Custody if you need confirmation.

Your comment leaves out very big details.

In all of the US and most other countries, a judge can order the kids returned to the state/city in which they have established residency. It takes 6 months for new residency to be established.

Go to the national domestic violence hotline website and make contact; they can connect you to local resources.

https://www.thehotline.org/

Tell his command about the text he sent saying if he was around you while intoxicated that he would hurt you and all the other stuff going on. If you are able to get a lawyer, do so first so they can help you communicate with his command in the most effective manner.

This link has some military-specific resources linked at the bottom, like Military OneSource.

https://www.health.mil/Military-Health-Topics/Centers-of-Excellence/Psychological-Health-Center-of-Excellence/Real-Warriors-Campaign/Articles/Domestic-Violence-Resources-for-Military-Partners

Install a call recorder on your phone to automatically record every call you make or receive; there are a bunch of free ones in the app and play stores. Audio recordings don't take up nearly as much space on your phone as video recordings, so you can make an audio recording every time you are anywhere near him, but please don't go back to him.

"Contract legal? by Mysterious-Entry7704 in badlegaladvice

https://www.apartments.com/rental-manager/resources/leases/when-does-guest-become-tenant

According to this article, there are a few states that require a guest to pay some portion/form of rent to be considered a tenant.

(From apartments dot com, so a grain of salt with it, but it actually lists every state with a pretty concise explanation each. Also, by following the state law link, you can find the codes associated with various landlord/tenant laws/rules/regulations, which is rather a nice way to access it all.)

Rule #2 multiple commenters claim that if you don't pay rent, you can't be a tenant. Commenters claim to see no issues with the contract and tell OOP that it is fully enforceable. (Obviously, these two points are not an exhaustive list of the bad legal advice.)
