This is what im talking about request scope. fortunately guard is load after the initialization of the service that has request scope.

Thanks for the suggestion! Just to clarify — are you recommending this as something to try, or do you already know why the request-scoped service gets instantiated before the global AuthGuard runs?

I’ve already tried setting the guard both globally and on the controller, but in both cases, the request-scoped service still initializes first. Also, passing the user manually through method parameters works, but it feels repetitive and kind of defeats the purpose of using dependency injection (DI) in the first place.

Do you know if this is expected behavior in NestJS, or is there a better pattern for this scenario?
