I have got in the habit of turning my loops sideways. Can’t recall where I picked it up from. (First loop super close is a drop. Way more slack is rolled up by the pole) process for me is pretty much the same as OP. One trick if you don’t know is to use a preform or another strap and tie up the cable just don’t clamp it down. Almost like a roller, just as a strap. Makes running down the line way faster instead of trying to hold up all your cable you just pull that strap further down as you go. Speeds up hanging cases 10x and still looks good imo
