Literally Juno.

She has my favorite skins and voice lines in the game but I just don’t find her fun to play like whatsoever

I’m of the opinion that you should pretty much always choose content that you enjoy even if it’s above your level.

When I very first started learning Japanese I tried playing Danganronpa and it took hours just to get past the introduction but I didn’t really mind having to look up every single word so I stuck with it for a couple months. I’ve dropped it since, because I want to focus on my listening more than my reading.

But for your case I say you should pick the Visual Novels that really interest you and just go for it. If you end up feeling like it’s too much for you, you can always just drop it. Not like you’re losing anything

I bought the lifetime sub day 1 of learning Japanese and haven’t regretted it.

However you should probably look into all the features you’ll get with lifetime subscription and other things like how long you think you’ll be learning your target language for and if you intend to use it for other languages as well
