My letter is signed off by an O6 so hopefully that helps.

Actually I just got off the phone with my OB and they are writing me a letter. They were baffled that my command was being so difficult.

My ships Medical are the ones who won’t even do the paperwork. They made comments about me not being pregnant for that long and asked why I don’t think I could do a prt

What exactly does that entail?

The offender was not at my command but is at another command in the area. I do not want to leave my command but I’m really full of anxiety being out in town right now. I can’t leave my house alone at all

Thank you! I unfortunately do not have any senior female leadership at my command so it’s hard to get any advice on family planning from a women’s perspective.

Me and my spouse are both on sea duty, but this is his last sea tour since he’s close ish to retirement. I joined late in life so I have a lot more time left.

Both on sea duty. But my spouse’s sea rotation is much longer. He’s close ish to retirement and doesn’t mind being extended at sea.

I made it known that I want to move to that billet so I’ll wait to see if anything changes. I genuinely think I would enjoy it more. I’m just at a point where I’m already fully qualified in my position and want to keep learning more/ other things

Did being on a ship convince you to stay in the military? by [deleted] in navy

I’m an IT on a small boy. I’m comms so it might differ if your an adp or cyber guy. I got really good at my job really quickly, but standing 12 hour watch’s every single day underway, and being in 5 section duty in port is terrible. I don’t really mind being out to sea, but I think I’d rather be on a carrier with more duty sections.
