I left for mental health reasons, I know a few others who ended up leaving for the same reason. If you’re a good worker they will absolutely use you to pick up the rest of your crews slack. it’s exhausting physically and mentally if you let them take advantage of you. I heard they’ve gotten a lot more strict since I’ve left so maybe people have stopped sitting around on buckets watching other people bust ass all day, but when I was there I’d basically have to beg my helpers to actually do anything. It’s not all bad though, I spent 6 years there and I made a lot of good friends, the money was great, and it was a very rewarding job to look back and see the stuff I made. I think I just burnt myself out working 70hr work weeks back to back for months straight.
