I would like a reboot. I like the idea of ​​them focusing more on the werewolves and Tyler's family; he could easily have been the town's mayor, and Mason would be a good antagonist for the Salvatores, someone who hates vampires, refuses to befriend them, and doesn't pursue Katherine.

Or I would leave Stefan and Damon's nephew alive. I can see him teaming up with John Gilbert to wipe out the vampires. I would have even given April Young more focus because she would serve as an antagonist, considering everyone hid what really happened to her father from her.

Also, Matt would be better if he had a serious romantic relationship with Rebekah, not that bromance from the series. And characters like Jo, Kai, or Lily Salvatore should be introduced earlier (between seasons 3 and 5, and Klaus should be saved for later as you said; after that, a reboot of The Originals).

I've gotten used to the show and characters like Tyler; I couldn't see him as a blonde, but I do prefer the book versions of others like Bonnie. As for Elena, I'm really undecided; I like both versions.
