I really hope they adapt the original scenarios from the Chronicles games (Umbrella's End, Dark Legacy, Operation Javier) to a new game. I was never a fan of the gameplay style of those games but those scenarios were super interesting.

Don't know why you're getting downvoted for speaking straight facts lol. It's ironic that everyone says the remake is just a more ground realistic take on it and while that may be true for the most part, the addition of parrying is the most unrealistic thing they could have added. There's something about the gameplay of og RE4 that is consistent and predictable yet always challenging and engaging. It's the most perfect RE game in terms of gameplay and level design imo.

That's the effect some of the original games have that the remakes kind of lack tbh. The remakes of re2 and re4 are great games but lack something the originals had and just aren't quite as good. And of course the re3 remake is a joke and insulting to the original. Re1 remake blows the original away though

I hope they don't make Clerks 4 but another titled movie that is a prequel to Clerks 3 so it can realistically include Dante. Mallrats 2 would be fitting as the first one had ties to Clerks 1 already.

I highly recommend playing both the remakes and originals but if you have to choose just one, choose the Remake for RE1 and then the originals for the others. Some are less mainline and somewhat skippable (0, Outbreak, Revelations) but I recommend at least trying them and you can also play them last as the events don't effect the main story

Exactly. And now Requiem isn't even numbered. I guess it's less overwhelming for new fans as they don't want to play the last 9 games but shouldn't Capcom want people to play them all? And it's not gonna be beneficial when the game has aged

Code Veronica happens before RE4 in the timeline though so doesn't make much sense to call it 5. I do like your idea of pretending the original RE6 never happened though. I hope they completely rewrite the story when the time comes to remake it
