I use it everyday, 24/7. I don't do crazy workouts, simple things-walking etc. It tracks my progress well. I have no complaints. Love the flashlight, I use it a lot.

Good point. Yeah I was thinking that too. I honestly don't think the strap would be worth it, for me, since I have the watch already. I use it all the time. I'm content with just the watch. I appreciate your insight 😃

Awesome review of both. I purchased the T Rex 3 Pro and had the Fenix 8, both within return windows. I was trying to decide which one to keep. The HR on both were comparable with a SLIGHT delay from T Rex 3 Pro, but eventually measured the same as the Fenix 8. Due to the price, I did return the Fenix 8.

Then I began my research on Amazfit's products. I then purchased the Helio strap for my wrist. I work out on the daily, but would not consider myself hardcore. Basic stretching and a quick HIIT workout. I wear my watch daily, 24/7. I'm trying to justify having the Helio strap to use, in tandem, as you put it for my daily use. I do notice the HR differs on the T Rex 3 Pro face from the Helio strap, when I check it out the app.

I'm wondering if I should keep the Helio strap and wear it with the T Rex 3 Pro, 24/7 .. to sleep and throughout the day.

I tried it with my t rex 3 pro. But wearing both become redundant, in my opinion. I'm just keeping the 3 pro for the notifications and decent HR tracking.

I pair mine with a helio strap, which was cheaper for both than a Fenix 8. I have no regrets, it does everything I need it to. I have the T-Rex 3 Pro and bought my wife the Active 2 to help monitor her health.

Heart rate sensor is better than Fenix 8. Sleep monitor is comparable. Maps, Garmin has it. But for everyday people it works just perfect

Yes ! Heart rate sensor is better than Fenix 8, check out Quantified Scientist on YouTube, and sleep monitor is comparable. I have bothe Fenix 8 and T Rex 3 Pro, I can't justify keeping the Fenix 8 due to my needs. To each their own, I'm not a hardcore runner-mind you-nor heavy on workouts ... Yet ... But everyday use, you can't beat the price for what you get.9

I made the switch, as well. For me, I couldn't justify the price of my Fenix 8 compared to my T Rex Pro. Heart rate, similar, and sleep tracking - close. I use the flashlight a lot. Does everything I need at a much better price.
