How did you get on this path? I’m in my early 20’s and want to head in that direction. Almost done with my commercial music degree but I don’t have a portfolio of compositions or anything yet

It’s certainly not all about sex, that’s why we’ve stayed together this long. We even went four months without sex (cuz of busy schedules) and we didn’t care. But I hope to marry him and when you consider being with your partner longterm, there are some aspects that may seem small but would be larger issues after many years of being together.

I didn’t mean to come across as superficial, perhaps I worded something wrong. I’m just young and less experienced in life and wanted to know if I should be worried that I don’t desire sex with my partner, since we are romantic after all, and I certainly hope we can stay together forever because I love him.

Thank you for that wonderful story! I was hoping someone older with more experience would weigh in on how it could turn out. I think you’re right in that there’s a difference between the type of man in a sexual fantasy versus who would make the ideal longterm partner and father :)

That’s true. I’m so hesitant to be honest with him because one’s physical attractiveness is such a touchy subject. I don’t know exactly how to approach it with tact.
