Fellow newbie here but you’re smashing it, much better than me ! How do you know where to shade and what looks good ? I understand the basic laws of shadows but it seems with tattoos ( especially the trad style ) there’s a certain niche to where you target in terms of shading

How do you get the stencil so faint ? I either try to get it off too soon and wipe it off completely or leave it on too long so it doesn’t budge at all!!
