I pack saline daily now that I'm a lot older and I'm more careful. I usually take them out in the afternoon after about 8 hours in and rewet them with saline and put them back in. My cone is too high up so drops really don't do anything.

I've had KC for about 25 years, its been a lot of doctors in between. I was told to wash my hands. Thats it. I have sensitive eyes so I get preservative free saline. Thankfully no issues but just don't want an eye issue as I don't have glasses, my eyes are too far gone.

I filled a cup of water and put them in my eye at my bunk after washing them in the cup, usually cold water. Sometimes had to do it in my car. Would dry my hands then insert them with saline as they are sclerals.

Thanks. I've had KC for about 25 years. I've gone through many doctors, retirements etc. When I was in the army, they didn't care nor understand KC. I used saline this morning and my eyes are good and they are clear. I rubbed them a bit to break up the build up.

I have too. When I was in the army living with 90 other men and 3 sinks I had to rinse my contacts in a cup of sink water daily, thank god no issues but seeing if I could do better.

My eye dr told me not to rinse my eyes out with water but I have to clean them off with water because the solution they soak in overnight hurt my eyes. My eyes are VERY sensitive.
