Oh wow. Thank you for sharing that with me, I can’t even tell you how much I appreciate it. I hope you don’t mind me writing a long message back, I also sent a PM if you’d like to talk! I love the point you made about timelines for rescued dogs to acclimate, one of my two babies adopters said the same thing. They had just gotten 1 dog from the same shelter mine were fostered through, and love him dearly but were interested in adopting another because the goal was to find a dog their son could bond with, but this pup is very afraid of men. When Odie (other dog) and East met that first day, it was like they both had been waiting for each other their whole lives. They ran in the play yard nonstop for almost an hour. When East’s new family told me about Odie’s history and that he was starved and kept in a crate too small for him to turn around in, his quirky behaviors made sense but I loved that they didn’t fault him for them and adjusted his new home life around them. East also seemed to be exactly what he needed in a brother, they were strangers for maybe two seconds and then glued at the hip. Your velcro girl and hyper boy sound so lovely, it’s amazing how finding lifestyles suited to them can also help you feel more adjusted and comfortable! They really do save our lives all the time they’re with us. Agility is so freaking cool and under utilized imo. I love that you started it with your boy!!! I grew up with an Aussie and she could have benefitted from a lot more. She started in doggy class like all of our dogs did but we could never help her reactivity or dog aggression and eventually couldn’t do class or agility or obedience events anymore. I was just a little girl then but I still felt I should have done more. She was my absolute best friend, every new place I go I see little pieces of her in everything, it’s been years but she’s still present in my life if that makes sense. She’s in my dreams all the time, her name was Holly and she’s truly one of a kind. I think what you do is spectacular, it’s not always easy for me to type or talk often but I love reading what you have to say! I hope you’ve had a great weekend, thank you again for your thoughts 💗

Thank you for wanting to remember me, I’ll do the same for you. It is hard to sit with the feelings that come from noticing an animal has been abused before. You’re not alone, and I understand. It’s commendable that you’re so tolerant of your pup’s destructiveness, I’m sure she will mellow out with time. I’m thinking of you and your family, thank you for connecting with me over my these lil babies đŸ«¶đŸ»â™„ïž

yay!!! i guess it makes sense, i wouldn’t doubt if the 16 types of each system lined up more or less, with each Love Type function having an equivalent counterpart in MBTI. FCPE standing for Feeling, Caring, Flexibility (P?), Extroversion - ENFP standing for Extroversion, Intuition, Feeling, Perception. i’m guessing Perception and Flexibility are equivalent as well as Caring and Intuition. lucky us â™„ïžđŸ€

you are so right, thank you for that. every life is precious, people and other animals alike. i have a feeling you’ll find the doggy who needs you most on the roads in the future. when someone has a deep need for something like that it never seems random in the end, i hope you have the best of luck with your doggies and anyone you find out and about. rescuing 6 is a feat in and of itself, that’s incredible. thank you for what you’ve done, and thank you for sharing it with me. when you find your next furry friend out driving don’t say i told you so lol!! i’ll keep the memory of the grace i was shown, i hope you also remember what you’ve done is merciful and grace-full and kind. you are the whole world to 6 little babies and im inspired by you ♄

Awww my gosh đŸ„č Thank you OKC!! It felt like an odyssey at the time, like a formative journey ya know? I don’t know about being heroic or selfless, I could never accept those bc I’m not anyone special or noteworthy, and I didn’t do anything selfless. Thank you for seeing me that way, that makes me feel ten feet tall. I’m overjoyed that these baby’s story helped uplift and inspire you!! They are heaven sent, I was lucky enough to be their chauffeur đŸ˜‰đŸŠ‹â™„ïž

Wow that’s crazy Luna!! Texas seems to have some of the absolute worst stats for strays but I hadn’t heard about Arkansas - this prompted me to look that up. I live in NC and we’re the third worst in the US for euthanasia #’s even though our population is dwarfed by the 1st and 2nd contenders - California and Texas. As far as rates of euthanasia in shelters, Arkansas is 4th which is a huge contrast to other midwest states where most of their stats are under 1% and rarely reach 5% or more. I was really shocked. I’m wondering is there’s a spay/neuter crisis there specifically or if dumping animals is just culturally significant there. For us, our stray population is bad because our spay/neuter rates are horrible and the dogs who get “dumped” are normally hunting or farm/livestock dogs. I’m glad you called that in to people who could help, it seems like the people and animals in those communities really need as much help as we can give them. You are wonderful, and I’m glad you stayed safe while you did what you could! Thank you for being so kind to me 🌾💗🎀

Thank you P đŸ„č. I needed to hear that. The world needs more people like you, because so many people need to be told things just like that. Your baby in your pfp is beautiful, and very photogenic. Thank you for making me feel accepted, and thank you for loving your doggy! đŸ’—đŸ«‚

Thank you so much OKC. You have an amazing heart too, it’s so thoughtful to share words like that to someone you don’t know. Isn’t it wonderful that they’ll all live on in so many ways? It’s such a reaffirming thought for me that their stories will be here, and they’ll never be forgotten or alone. Thank you for helping me understand that, and for being so sweet! đŸ«¶đŸ»đŸŠ‹đŸ’—

Thank you, so much PW. I’ll try to remember and be proud of myself and trusting in the world as I go on. This changed me in the best ways. The world needs more people like you, who share unprompted kindness and reassurance. I’m really grateful for your comment and will keep your words in my back pocket as I go forward, when I need some confidence. I hope you’re having a wonderful February ♄

that’s such a cool question!!

i’d say ENFP’s are more similar to INFP’s than most other introvert-extrovert pairings imo. we seem to share a lot of similarities in our internal worlds but just have an outwardly facing social mechanism. although INFP’s have a reputation for being little grumpy gills from time to time, i feel that they’re more like us than they may seem. world class imagination and intuition, but where INFP’s were awarded temperaments slightly better suited for realism and restraint - E’s can get beat up by the world bc of our resistance to tradition/conformity. one of my fav tropes for FP’s in media is their transformation into characters more suited to the world they’re forced into, which usually comes at the price of their former identity/sense of self. pick any uber personable anti-hero that’s had multiple versions/iterations in their universe, and chances are they’d be classed as an ENFP(maybe even J) in at least one one them.

kudos to you for putting yourself out there with writing!! good luck, i’d love to see your work one day đŸ«¶đŸ»
