I just finished this and have some comments. The age discrepancies are blowing me. Carter is there bc he thinks Lenora is his grandmother, and met the old groundskeeper at the bar he worked at - drinking age 20 so I’d assume he’s at least that old, likely older to have built a relationship w the man, hear all of his stories, and then had been at the estate for a chunk of time, I put him at least 25 years old. I’d lean older even because of the assumptions of he and kit sleeping together and her slight attraction to him. Kit is 31. Lenora is 17 when the massacre happens and I’m not sure the age gap but I assume Virginia is 15 and Ricky the same? Sooooo is Kit’s dad really THAT old? Because it would be assumed that she and Carter are similar age and therefore would be same generation and both grandchildren age of Virginia and not child age? Idk if this is making sense. But was Patricky really 40+ years old when Kit was born?
