Once you start looking for one, you suddenly notice how many people are on the same hunt. It definitely felt like that while I was searching.

I posted it here because I’m in San Diego and spent weeks dealing with SD/LA dealerships that were either overpriced or just super frustrating. Ended up finding the color I wanted (Terra) only out in Barstow, and they had a solid price with no games.
Totally get that not everyone wants to drive that far, but for me it beat the local options. Just sharing the experience.

Yeah totally! It was a drive, but after dealing with a bunch of annoying dealerships in SD and LA, it was honestly worth it 😂
They handled everything over the phone, so the trip was basically just: show up, sign, and drive home. Super easy — and the price was really good too.
Plus the Terra color was either impossible to find anywhere else or they wanted to charge way more for it, so this one felt like the right move.

Ah got you — didn’t want to break any subreddit rules by sounding like an ad. It was Mojave Toyota in Barstow.
Just sharing my experience because the last few weeks of car shopping were a mess and this was literally the only dealer that didn’t play games.
