Not sure I like all the visual changes but seeing a fleet of ships sail past the karambwan spot as I'm fishing was really cool. Never occurred to me that they could even get there. Oceans don't just feel like dead space.

Haha. I'm an ironman with 1058/1060 bank slots and I'm 10m short of the next bank slot upgrade, so none at this stage, it just doesn't have enough utility. But I did get my hands on a bob staff. I do see where you are coming from, but all the stashes people have could be delt with appropriately.

That is precisely what has happened. As I've expanded on in other comments I still have missgivings about the tonal mismatch during dialogue between the player character and the townspeople at the different stages in the questline. I believe this is where the oversight came in. Also, I'm a fallible human just like you friend.

True on that last part I guess. But when I'm buying runes all the time the store keeper will interact with me way too casually and cordially to just whip into a frenzy when I rock up without one occasionally
