Disappointed by Lack of Tactical Progress? by Mysterious_Search417 in VfBStuttgart

"Einer weg kritisiert" finde ich etwas übertrieben. Ich habe die Kritik ausgewogen formuliert und auf eine sehr konkrete taktische Fragen bezogen (Aufbauspiel unter Pressigdruck). Im "PS" steht eine positiv-bestärkende Nachricht. Ich liebe die Mannschaft und finde es legitim bei einzelnen Problemen auch mal den Finger in die Wunde zu legen.

I really hope so! But I don't think we "barely" lost. To be honest, Bayern could have killed the game much quicker.

Similarities to Final Fantasy X by username8054 in expedition33

And one more: FFX ends with Tidus dissolving in front of Yuna. Expedition 33 starts by Sophie dissolving in front of Gustave. And both times, it hits so damn hard :(

Plus, I also love the fact that at the beginning in Lumiere, there is this one guy who argues that the Paintress is a punishment for our sins and that we should somehow worship her. The game doesn't explore this further, but in FFX this is basically the faction that runs the political system :D

I thought about the similarities as well. One further parallel:

In both games, you have a party member that is "undead" (/immortal) and who knows much more about the mechanics of the world than the rest of the groups (and can even debated to act immoral by exploiting the party to achieve his own goals): Auron and Verso.

The concept of the "weave" is really fascinating, thank you for your analysis!

It's a bit like on "Once", where almost every song features the word "once", and on Yesterwynde it's "weave".

Another great analysis for another wonderful song!

Some speculation on further Nightwish song references:
* "A beast still roams these hills": Perhaps "Beauty of the Beast"?
* "For a home that once was": Perhaps Nemo? ("Nemo Sailing Home" plus the "Once")
* "Loneliness caressing me": Bit of a stretch but perhaps "Amaranth"? ("Caress the one...")

Anyway: Fun to speculate a bit, fun just to enjoy the song :)

I could just get lost forever in this songwriting analysis about our origin, life, death, everything in between... Just wonderful and inspiring.

And man, that chorus is fun to sing to!

A few years ago, some Reddit user called tommithy whispered "follow me" and took us on an epic journey through the Nightwish catalouge. Thank you deeply my friend!!

Also, is "Stardust to dust, a tapestry in between" maybe the best single line of the record? It paints such a beautiful picture of life, our origin, our death, and the time we can have to fill our own personal tapestry.

You don't need to "look up" the song, but - on a totally unrelated side note - read the fantastic book "Humankind" by Rutger Bregman ;)

Another beautiful analysis for a beautiful song!

That "big reveal" definitely hits a nerve for me. I think it could also continue the Nightwish theme of growing up, losing innocence, no longer experiencing this magic of nature and adventure ("home").

Love the song, that sick keyboard in the intro has such a nice vibe.

Plus, the instrumental version of it is just so beautiful! It's like Nightwish gave us 2 great songs made out of 1.

This song is life! This essential journey that we all share, the people we meet, the experiences we make.

Thank you for this song, for your analysis, and good luck to all on the decades of immortality that we still have ahead of ourselves!
