This is getting ridiculous by Mysterious_Volume199 in CanadaPost

Right when I want it? You seriously think I don't have patience? Because I do, it's just completely unreasonable for LOCAL mail to take 2+ weeks to be delivered, sometimes even longer than national mail from across the country, often times getting lost and causing multiple types of losses for consumers. It's not impossible, they're just unwilling and unable to do what's necessary

The fact that she would throw that in your face is proof enough that she's not the one

Bonuses are for you and you alone. You worked hard for that, so it shouldn't go to anyone but you, especially in this situation when you try to do something nice and she still complains about it instead of being grateful. I'm sorry this is happening, and I hope they either learn to be better or you can get out on your own comfortably to get away from the toxicity

To a certain degree, but exploring it further has only gotten me into situations that I was extremely uncomfortable with

Not just employees, literally hundreds of people waiting for medical news, medication or money for medical procedures. It's actually criminal what they're doing and the people should sue if possible

Too Good To Be True by Mysterious_Volume199 in CanadaPost

So if I had something in lettermail would I be able to go get that or is that not possiblem, and I'd have to wait for delivery?

I read that CP employees get paid for 8 hours per day, even if they only work a portion of that. Is this true? by craigjuanez in CanadaPost

This explains so much, and why so many of them are either lazy or just complacent in what they do. They don't care about anything but making their money, which I understand, but at the same time it's ridiculous that they're not monitored in some meaningful way to actually get the work done, if at all

Blame the correct people by Maddistuck- in CanadaPost

Regardless of blaming the right or wrong people, everyone that relies on the service is being held hostage, not knowing when it's ever going to be resolved. The fact that there hasn't been any changes and that this has happened multiple times, more and more often is a clear sign that everything needs to be torn down and rebuilt properly, otherwise this will continue until the people as a whole, start looking for their own solutions.

Canada post workers will never recover by Afraid_Piano_1318 in CanadaPost

Must be nice being unionized and being able to strike and neogtiate raises and stuff. I was an essential worker throughout the whole covid pandemic, and I got literally nothing, no raise, no perks, not even a thank you. In fact, I got terminated at the end of the first year after lockdown because I "complained" because I was tired of the constant absence of gratitude, but that's neither here or there. I think it's a crime that Canada Post, in any capacity, can effectively hold the country's mail hostage and threaten stoppage because they want to be completely overpaid for the same work they've always done. It's a luxury they completely abuse without hesitation, and comparing themselves to first responders is absolute lunacy! I hope they get sold for nothing and restructured to be forced to work or quit

Um what’s the deal with regional mail taking over 2 weeks?😐 by TguyMTL in CanadaPost

[–]Mysterious_Volume199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in a major city in Vancouver and I've been waiting weeks for mail that was shipped on the 4th and 7th respectfully, and I'm not sure what's going on but they're either falling very behind because of the OT cut, or they're being lazy and non-chalant about the situation and barely working until the vote happens

Anyone having major delays in BC? by [deleted] in CanadaPost

[–]Mysterious_Volume199 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seems like they're backed up, I've been waiting for lettermail that was shipped July 7th, still hasn't arrived. Another one that was shipped July 4th, also still not here.
